POSSESSION  –  August 27, 2020

DEFENDANT:  Daniel Wotapka, Age 41, Union Street, Richlandtown, PA

Quakertown Police filed charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia stemming from an incident that occurred on 24 July 2020 in the area of 401 Tohickon Avenue.

BURGLARY/CRIMINAL TRESPASS – August 26, 2020 @ 10:29PM

DEFENDANT:  Philip Angelo, Age 30, Morgan Hill Drive, Pennsburg, PA

Quakertown Police were dispatched for a motion activation alarm at Rite Aid, 1465 West Broad Street. On scene, and after further investigation, Angelo was found in the building with stolen items on his person.  He was arrested and arraigned by Magistrate Gambardella. Bail was set at $200,000 and Angelo was remanded to Bucks County Prison.

CRIMINAL/ DEFIANT TRESPASS – August 25, 2020 @ 4:16PM

DEFENDANT:  Thomas Michaels, Age 55, Richlandtown Pike, Richlandtown, PA

Quakertown Police were dispatched to the Grundy House Apartments, 1611 Park Avenue for the report of an unwanted subject. On scene and after further investigation, Michaels was arrested for shouting in the lobby and refusing to leave.

WARRANT/ESCAPE AND RESISTING – August 24, 2020 @ 11:13PM

DEFENDANT:  Jason Petrucelli, Age 42, West Broad Street, Quakertown, PA

Quakertown Police were arresting Petrucelli in the area of 1112 West Broad Street on two active Bench Warrants out of Bucks County when he resisted arrest and fled. He was apprehended shortly after and taken into custody. Petrucelli was transported to Bucks County Prison and arraigned on new Quakertown charges.

ACCESS DEVICE FRAUD – August 24, 2020

DEFENDANT:  Kelly Farannte, Age 25, Riverside Drive, Bethlehem, PA

Quakertown Police filed charges of Access Device Fraud, Identity Theft, and RSP against Farannte stemming from further investigation into an incident that occurred on 30 April 2020 involving unauthorized transactions on a stolen PA Access card.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF/DISORDERLY CONDUCT – August 24, 2020

DEFENDANT:  Joel Butko, Age 34, Long Road, Green Lane, PA

Quakertown Police cited Butko for his inappropriate behavior displayed during an incident that occurred on 20 July 2020 at Pep Boys, 222 South West End Boulevard.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT – August 24, 2020

DEFENDANTS:  Dennis Englert, Age 29, West Broad St., Quakertown, PA

                           Brandon Mackaravitz, Age 20, Jefferson Ave., Pottstown, PA

                           Avery Colon, Age 18, West Broad Street, Quakertown, PA

Quakertown Police cited Englert, Mackaravitz, and Colon for their involvement in a physical altercation that occurred in the area of West Broad Street and 7^th Street on 23 August 2020 @ 6:06 PM.

DUI/POSSESSION – August 24, 2020 @ 7:34PM

DEFENDANT:  Cody Thorsen, Age 28, Kumry Road, Quakertown, PA

Quakertown Police were dispatched to the area of South Hellertown Avenue and Franklin Street for the report of a male passed out behind the wheel of a silver Nissan Altima and the vehicle was running.  On scene, and after further investigation, Thorsen was ID’d and arrested for DUI. Search incident to arrest revealed suspected heroin and drug paraphernalia.

WARRANT  –  August 22, 2020 @ 1:32AM

 DEFENDANT:  Jason Johnson, Age 25, North 5^th Street, Perkasie, PA

Quakertown Police affected a traffic stop on Johnson in the area of Route 663 and South West End Boulevard for expired registration. He was subsequently arrested on an active Arrest Warrant out of Montgomery County on a probation/parole violation.

POSSESSION – August 3, 2020

DEFENDANT:  Jared Back, Age 34, Jefferson Court, Bensalem, PA

Quakertown Police filed charges of Possession of Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia against Back stemming from an incident that occurred on 22 July 2020 in the area of 1446 West Broad.

ENDANGERING THE WELFARE / DUI – August 3, 2020 @ 5:38PM

DEFENDANT:  Juline Jones, Age 32, S. Hellertown Avenue, Quakertown, PA

Quakertown Police were dispatched to a well being check in the parking lot of  the Ross Clothing Store located at 20 North West End Boulevard. Reportedly there was a female passed out in the driver’s seat of a parked vehicle with a small child in the rear of same vehicle. On scene, and after further investigation, Jones was arrested.

WARRANT – August 3, 2020 @ 6:36 PM

DEFENDANT:  Bryan Hoff, Age 33, S, Hellertown Avenue, Quakertown, PA

Quakertown Police arrested Hoff in the area of 3000 St. Luke’s Drive on a Bench Warrant out of Tioga County Common Pleas Court for Failure to Pay.  He was transported to Bucks County Prison.

WARRANT / POSSESSION  –  August 2, 2020 @ 11:00AM

DEFENDANT:  Jason Zachary-Pitts, Age 21, Braithwaite Lane, Quakertown, PA

Quakertown Police arrested Zachary-Pitts in the area of 213 West Broad Street on an active Bench Warrant out of Montgomery County for probation violation.  On search incident to arrest, suspected OxyContin and drug paraphernalia were located. He was transported to Bucks County Prison awaiting arraignment on Quakertown charges.
