The Borough of Quakertown is a great place to live, work and play.  When disaster strikes, the Borough of Quakertown Emergency Management Team is committed to protecting the lives and property of our citizens in the event of a natural or human-caused, including terrorism, emergency or disaster.  The scope of the Borough’s Emergency Management Plan includes all activities in the entire emergency management cycle, including prevention, preparedness, response and recovery phases.

Educating Quakertown families and businesses on how to best prepare for a natural disaster; large-scale emergency or unexpected attack means more than anything.  All Quakertown residents need to know there are well-developed and well-rehearsed emergency response plans at all levels of government.  At the core of this effort is the important issue of citizen preparedness.

While there is no way to predict what will happen, there are simple steps that you or your loved ones can take.  Protecting the life, health and safety of your loved ones and those around you, as well as knowing what to do when a disaster strikes is an important responsibility.

We maintain a database of residents who requires special assistance during an emergency situation.  If you or a family member would like to be placed on this database, please complete the Emergency Special Needs form and return it to Doug Wilhelm at dwilhelm@quakertown.org.
