LOADING AND UNLOADING ZONES

Free 15-minute parking spaces sporadically placed on Broad Street are a convenient option for quick stops and short visits. These spaces are typically designed to provide quick access to businesses or services in the area, encouraging turnover and making it easier for people to run brief errands. When using these parking spots, it's essential to adhere to the time limit, as exceeding it may result in parking tickets or fines.

HANDICAPPED PARKING

Any valid Handicapped Plate/Placard displayed will receive a 1-hour grace at ANY managed parking spot.

To enhance parking opportunities and simplify payment, a parking kiosk has been installed at the Triangle Parking Lot. This kiosk accepts quarters only and offers a user-friendly experience:

1. Press the start button on the kiosk. 
2. Insert quarters for desired parking time - rate of $0.25 per 15 minutes. Maximum of 12 hours.
3. Press the print button on the kiosk and retrieve the printed ticket indicating your expiration date and time.
4. Place the ticket face up on your driver's side dashboard.

The kiosk ticket is valid in all downtown managed parking areas, providing a convenient and consistent parking solution for all visitors.

Merchants that wish to participate can obtain parking vouchers and distribute them to their customers. A customer who wishes to use a voucher should go into the store to receive their voucher for $.50. A voucher is valid for a single parking event and must be displayed visibly under the windshield wiper. Vouchers are only good for 1 hour.

Parking Citations are issued when parking rules and regulations are violated. Parking citations can be paid in the following ways:

1. In person at the Quakertown Borough Police Station, Monday through Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm. Payments can be made with cash, check, and credit cards. 

2. Dropping payment in the Borough Hall drop-box located on the northside of Borough Hall. Must enclose ticket with check or money order. 

3. Sending check or money, along with the ticket to Quakertown Borough Police Station, 35 N. Third Street Quakertown, PA 18951.  

Failure to pay or respond to a parking ticket will result in a summons being issued by the local District Justice with additional costs imposed.

Parking Meter Expired: $15.00
Fine is double if not paid within 5 day

Parking Ticket: $25.00
Fine is double if not paid within 5 day
