The Public Works Department’s main objective is to enhance the quality of life in the Borough by maintaining over 27 miles of Borough and State roads, 50 miles storm sewers, 135 acres of parks and recreation facilities, and a state of the art swimming pool. Additionally the dedicated crew works to preserve a safe and clean environment by street sweeping, leaf collection, snow plowing and salting.
