The Public Works Department periodically sweeps our streets. In order to do a thorough job, especially during the first spring sweeping, it is necessary to have all cars removed from the streets. Whenever a street is posted for sweeping, cars must be moved by the time indicated on the signs. Since weather conditions prohibit giving more than a day's notice, residents who go out of town and have a car parked on the street, may want to leave a car key with a neighbor.

All cars that are not moved when streets are posted will be ticketed.

To make the sweeping more successful, residents should sweep debris and dirt from the sidewalks into the street when the street is posted. Sweeping is done to enhance your neighborhood and the Borough asks for your cooperation.
