Customers of the Quakertown Borough Electric may request the installation of a mercury vapor lamp on their property. The lamp will be installed on a pole on the customer’s property at a location designated by the customer and agreeable to the Borough Electric Department’s regulations relating to accessibility, ease of maintenance, length of span and such other factors deemed pertinent.

The Borough may deny service to any location not meeting regulations or the customer may be required to reimburse the Borough for the cost of installation.

The fixture rental fee is an annual invoice that is sent out in the beginning of the year.  The annual cost for this service is determined by the fee schedule below.
