2019 SOUNDS OF SUMMER CONCERT SERIES
Quakertown Borough proudly presented the third annual Sounds of Summer Concert Series presented by Sands Auto group of Quakertown. The concert series consisted of 5 concerts from world-class entertainers throughout July and August. This summer, the concert series presented even larger acts including three-time Grammy nominee Trace Adkins, the legendary front man of Motley Crue Vince Neil, and one of the leading female guitarists of all time Lita Ford. Doug Propst, Borough Council Park & Recreation Chairman stated, “The concerts have been a great success and we are looking forward to our concerts next year. As we grow the venue, we expect to provide bigger named entertainers with a wide verity of music”.
The Univest Performance Center is part of Quakertown’s ongoing revitalization efforts. Quakertown Borough is committed to preserving its small town feel and strong community relationships. This venue makes Quakertown a destination spot, bringing in outside visitors, all while providing Quakertown residents’ world-class entertainment in their own backyard. Donald Rosenberger, Borough Council President stated, “ Our concerts are bringing people to Quakertown who eat in our restaurants, and shop in our stores, and we are adding to Quakertown’s vibrancy and continuing to building the communities reputation to be a great place to live and visit.”
