Denise Gill, Age 37, County Line Road, Spinnerstown, PA
A joint investigation between the Quakertown Borough Police Department and the Bucks County Detectives Drug Strike Force spanning from February 2019 through July 2019 uncovered a store in the Quakertown Farmer’s Market, 201 Station Rd in Richland Township, Bucks County that was buying stolen health and beauty items. Those items were then resold for profit within the store and on EBay. The investigation uncovered that One Stop Health and Beauty Shop, located in the Q-Mart, operated by Michael and Denise Gill of Milford Township was buying the stolen products from many drug addicted customers who would commit retail thefts at area retail stores for items specifically sought after. Michael Gill would specifically provide lists to those committing the thefts indicating which items he needed for the store. The customers were given only a small portion of the retail value of the items who in turn would then use the money for drugs, housing and other personal business. Michael and Denise Gill were formally charged and arraigned at District Court in Quakertown in front of the Honorable Lisa Gaier on October 2, 2019 and are awaiting preliminary hearings.
Assisting in providing vast support for the operation, which included many deliveries of purported stolen health and beauty products to the Gill’s at the store and off premise locations was Asset Protection from Giant Food Stores, CVS, and Target who worked in conjunction with EBay.
