Quakertown Police effected a traffic stop on Howe in the area of Route 663 and Hickory Drive for speeding and erratic driving over a median and striking a road sign. He was subsequently arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.

Quakertown Police cited a male juvenile for violating the curfew ordinance in the area of the 100 Block of East Mill Street, after being previously warned about being out after curfew.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – July 28, 2019

DEFENDANT:  Tyler Watson, Age 18, South Main Street, Richlandtown, PA

Quakertown Police cited Watson for flipping a table in one of the pavillions at Memorial Park, 700 West Mill Street, on 18 July 2019.

DUI, ENDANGERING WELFARE – July 28, 2019 @ 8:59PM

DEFENDANT:  Jovani Acevedo, Age 36, Sterling Street, Philadelphia, PA

Quakertown Police effected a traffic stop on Acevedo in the area of South West End Boulevard and Trumbauersville Road for driving without headlights illuminated. He was subsequently arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.  He had two juveniles in the back seat, therefore charged with Endangering Welfare.

PIC, SIMPLE ASSAULT  -  July 27, 2019 @ 11:24AM

Quakertown Police filed charges of Possessing Instruments of Crime, Simple Assault, Harassment, and Disorderly Conduct against a male juvenile for using a wrist rocket slingshot to shoot a rock at another person and hitting him in the head at Memorial Park, 700 West Mill Street.

Quakertown Police cited Suman for her inappropriate conduct displayed in the area of North 4^th Street on 24 July 2019.

POSSESSION – July 25, 2019

DEFENDANT:  Nicholas Chernay, Age 31, Chestnut Hill Church Rd., Coopersburg

Quakertown Police were dispatched on 24 July 2019 at 11:20PM to St. Lukes Hospital, 1021 Park Avenue, to meet security for found drugs on a patient. After further investigation, Chernay was charged with Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana.

WARRANT – July 24, 2019 @ 7:24PM

DEFENDANT:  Demetrius Greene, Age 29, S.Old Bethlehem Pk., Quakertown, PA

Quakertown Police arrested Greene in the area of West Mill Street and North 4^th Street on an active Bench Warrant out of Bucks County for Probation Violation. He was turned over to the Bucks County Sheriff’s Department.

CONFINEMENT OF DOGS – July 24, 2019

DEFENDANT:  Shawna Mokes, Age 44, Washington Court, Quakertown, PA

Quakertown Police cited Mokes for Confinement of Dogs after previously being warned on two separate occasions about allowing her dog to run loose in Quakertown.

Quakertown Police were advised of a road rage incident that had just occurred in the area of South West End Boulevard and West Broad Street. After further investigation, Knight was cited for Disorderly Conduct and Harassment. Wiley was cited for Harassment.

RETAIL THEFT – July 20, 2019

DEFENDANT:  Michael Soder, Age 27, Durham Road, Kitnersville, PA

Quakertown Police filed Retail Theft charges against Soder stemming from further investigation into a theft that occurred at Pep Boys, 222 South West End Boulevard, on Saturday, July 13, 2019.

POSSESSION – July 20, 2019 @ 1:08AM

Quakertown Police effected a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of South Main Street near Juniper Street. Soder was a passenger in the vehicle and was arrested for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

DEFIANT TRESPASS – July 20, 2019 @ 1:11PM

DEFENDANT:  Samuel Wynne, Age 21, No Fixed Abode

Quakertown Police arrested Wynne at Giant Food Store, 1465 West Broad Street, for trespassing on the property after being previously warned numerous times that he was not allowed on the property.  He was arraigned by Magistrate Gambardella and committed to Bucks County Prison on $500 bail.

Quakertown Police effected a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of West Broad Street and 8^th Street for suspended registration. Connery was a passenger in the vehicle and was arrested for possession of suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Quakertown Police arrested Baringer in the area of 1446 West Broad Street on a Bench Warrant out of Bucks County for Parole Violation. She was transported to Bucks County Prison.

DOMESTIC SIMPLE ASSAULT – July 9, 2019 @ 6:33AM

DEFENDANT:  Isabella May, Age 21, Glenwood Avenue, Quakertown, PA

Quakertown Police filed Assault and Harassment charges against May after further investigation into the report of a domestic assault that occurred on 8 July 2019 in the area of 607 East Broad Street.  May was arrested and arraigned by Magistrate Peranteau and bail was set at $25,000 unsecured.

WARRANT – July 8, 2019 @ 12:55PM

DEFENDANT:  Jeffrey Berwind, Age 35, West Broad Street, Quakertown, PA

Quakertown Police arrested Berwind in the area of 331 West Broad Street on a Probation Violation Bench Warrant and a Parole Violation Bench Warrant, both out of Bucks County Sheriff’s Department.  He was transported to Bucks County Prison.

                           Braxton Johnson, Age 18, North Penrose Street, Quakertown, PA

Quakertown Police were dispatched to the area of 940 West Mill Street for the report of  juveniles with alcohol. On scene, and after further investigation, Peters, Johnson, and (3) juveniles were cited for Underage Drinking.

THEFT / RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY – July 6, 2019 @ 2:25PM

DEFENDANT:  Kenneth Stephens, Age 32, Pennington Lane, Quakertown, PA

Quakertown Police were dispatched to the Bucks County Free Library at 401 West Mill Street for the report of stolen DVD movie disks.  On scene, and after further investigation, Stephens was arrested for unlawfully taking (4) DVDs from the library on 3 July 2019.
