SIMPLE ASSAULT – January 30, 2019 @ 11:54PM

DEFENDANT:  Angela Vandyke, Age 38, No Fixed Abode

Quakertown Police responded to 461 East Broad Street for the report of a domestic in progress, male vs. female and physical.  On scene, and after further investigation, Vandyke was arrested and charged with Simple Assault and Harassment.  She was arraigned by Magistrate Gaier and bail was set at $2500. Vandyke was remanded to Bucks County Prison.

PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS  – January 30, 2019 @ 1:54PM

DEFENDANT:  Paul Wright, Age 33, No Fixed Abode

Quakertown Police arrested Wright in the area of 19 South 6^th Street for Public Drunkenness. He was taken to Bucks County Prison for violating probation.

DUI   – January 29, 2019 @ 1:26AM

DEFENDANT:  James Conover, Age 36, N. Church St., Allentown, PA

Quakertown Police effected a traffic stop on Conover for a headlight and tail light not illuminated in the area of South West End Boulevard and South 9^th Street.  He was subsequently arrested for driving under the influence.

WARRANT / POSSESSION – January 28, 2019 @ 5:36PM

DEFENDANT:  Timothy Kaufmann, Age 30, No Fixed Abode

Quakertown Police arrested Kaufmann in the area of 5 Naylor Court on an active arrest warrant out of Richland Township Police for Robbery.  Suspected heroin and drug paraphernalia were found on his person. Kauffman was arraigned by Magistrate Snow on Quakertown and Richland Township charges and was remanded to Bucks County Prison.

INDECENT EXPOSURE / OPEN LEWDNESS – January 27, 2019

DEFENDANT:  Jacob Newman, Age 24, South Main Street, Quakertown, PA

Quakertown Police filed charges against Newman for his inappropriate behavior displayed in the parking lot at Giant Food Store, 1465 West Broad Street, on 25 January 2019.

WARRANT – January 26, 2019 @ 5:32PM

DEFENDANT:  Ryan Randall, Age 41, West Mill Street, Quakertown, PA

Quakertown Police arrested Randall at 1224 West Mill Street on an arrest warrant out of Perkasie Police Department for assault. He was temporarily housed in the Quakertown Police Department until turned over to Perkasie Police.

SIMPLE ASSAULT – January 25, 2019 @ 8:23PM

DEFENDANT:  Adam Strzelski, Age 34, West Broad Street, Quakertown, PA

Quakertown Police were dispatched to the Bush House Hotel, 200 West Broad Street, for the report of a squad responding for a female in her 20’s, unconscious in the hallway. On scene, and after further investigation, police arrested Strzelski for assault. He was arraigned by Magistrate Petrucci and bail was set at $25,000. He was remanded to Bucks County Prison.

POSSESSION   – January 24, 2019

Quakertown Police referred a female juvenile to the Youth Aid Panel stemming from an incident that occurred at the high school on 9 January 2019 involving a vape device.

WARRANT – January 24, 2019 @ 6:00PM

DEFENDANT:  Kimberly Smoot, Age 30, East Broad Street, Quakertown, PA

Quakertown Police arrested Smoot in the area of the Quakertown Train Station at 15 Front Street on an active warrant out of Montgomery County for Probation Violation. She was transported to Bucks County Prison.

ARREST PRIOR TO REQUISITION   – January 23, 2019 @ 10:45PM

DEFENDANT:  John Beitler, Age 49, North Old Bethlehem Pike, Quakertown, PA

Quakertown Police effected a traffic stop on Beitler in the area of Mill Street and Park Avenue for suspicious and erratic driving. He was found to be wanted out of Morris County Prosecutor’s Office for unlawful possession of a weapon. Beitler was arrested and arraigned by Magistrate Falcone and committed to Bucks County Prison. Bail was set at $250,000.

THEFT   – January 22, 2019

DEFENDANT: Samuel Wynne, Age 21, NW End Blvd., Quakertown, PA

Quakertown Police filed Theft and Receiving Stolen Property charges against Wynne stemming from an investigation into a stolen bike incident that occurred on 16 January 2019 at the Upper Bucks Free Library, 401 West Mill Street.

FORGERY – January 20, 2019 @ 10:05PM

DEFENDANTS:  Matthew Geissler, Age 36, Ruth Road, Harleysville, PA

                           Michael Sewak, Age 31, South Main Street, Telford, PA

On January 20, 2019 at approximately 10:05PM, Quakertown Police Officers responded to the Econo Lodge, 1446 West Broad Street, for a report of subjects inside a room making counterfeit currency. On scene, and after further investigation, Geissler and Sewak were taken into custody and charges were filed. Both were arraigned by Magistrate Falcone and bail was set at $70,000. Geissler and Sewak were remanded to Bucks County Prison.

DEFENDANT: Diane ORourke, Age 45, Country Club Rd. Northampton, PA

Quakertown Police effected a traffic stop on ORourke in the area of West Broad Street and South 7^th Street for expired inspection. She was subsequently arrested for driving under the influence.

DEFENDANT:  Brianna Godshall, Age 28, Union Street, Hatfield, PA

Quakertown Police arrested Godshall at the Bush House Hotel, 200 West Broad Street, on a warrant out of Montgomery County for Failure To Appear. She was temporarily housed in the Quakertown Police Department until turned over to Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department.

SIMPLE ASSAULT  –  January 14, 2019

DEFENDANT: Dustin Hill, Age 37, Footville Richmond Rd., Jefferson, Ohio

Quakertown Police filed charges against Hill after further investigation into an assault incident that occurred on 12 December 2018 in the rear parking lot of the Econo Lodge, 1446 West Broad Street.

Defendant:  Alfred Ketelsen, Age 45, No Fixed Abode

Quakertown Police were dispatched for the report of a suspicious person in the area of the Quakertown Pool Lot at 601 West Mill Street. On scene, and after further investigation, Ketelsen was arrested for threatening a police officer and resisting arrest.  He was arraigned by Magistrate Gaier and bail was set at $200,000. Ketelsen was remanded to Bucks County Prison.

Quakertown Police filed charges of Forgery, Access Device Fraud, Identity Theft, Tampering With Records, and related other charges against Nardone stemming from an investigation into a new account fraud report generated from QNB Bank at the Country Square Branch that occurred on 12 June 2018. DEFENDANT:  Stephen Hall, Age 52, South Dauphin Street, Allentown, PA

Quakertown Police arrested Hall at St. Luke’s Hospital, 1021 Park Avenue. He was wanted by Moore Township Police for a vehicle theft and Northampton County Police on a bench warrant. Hall was temporarily housed in the Quakertown Police Department until turned over to a Pennsylvania State Constable.

Quakertown Police effected a traffic stop on Bonanni in the area of East Broad Street and Nick Luca Drive for driving without headlights illuminated. After further investigation, he was arrested for Possession of suspected Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia.

The Quakertown Borough Police Department and Pennsylvania State Police filed charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia against Schwenk and Smith stemming from the service of a Narcotics Search Warrant at 1740 Pine Creek Drive on 27 December 2018.

Stasek was temporarily housed in the Quakertown Police Department until turned over to the Bucks County Sheriff’s Department.

HINDERING APPREHENSION/OBSTRUCTION – January 4, 2019

Quakertown Police arrested Tindall and charged him with Hindering Apprehension and Obstructing Administration of Law stemming from a traffic stop that occurred on 1 January 2019 whereby Tindall was a passenger and gave false information to police during an official investigation.

DEFENDANT:  John Soricelli, Age 55, East Broad Street, Quakertown, PA

Quakertown Police effected a traffic stop on Soricelli on West Broad Street at 10^th Street for expired inspection. He was subsequently arrested for DUI. Drug Paraphernalia was found in the vehicle.

WARRANT / POSSESSION – January 1, 2019 @ 11:12AM

DEFENDANT:  Sydney Nickisher, Age 22, Misty Lane, Quakertown, PA

Quakertown Police effected a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 100 Block of Washington Court for a suspended registration. Nickisher was a passenger in the vehicle. She gave false identification to officer, had outstanding warrants out of Bucks County, and on search incident to arrest, suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia were found. Nickisher was transported to Bucks County Prison awaiting arraignment on Quakertown charges.

POSSESSION / WARRANT – January 1, 2019 @ 12:55PM

DEFENDANT:  Michelle Negron, Age 35, W. Livingston St., Allentown, PA

Quakertown Police were dispatched to St. Luke’s Hospital at 1021 Park Avenue for the report of found narcotics on a patient.  After further investigation, Negron was arrested on 2 January 2019 and charged with Possession of Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia. She was then arraigned and remanded to Bucks County Prison on an active warrant out of Bethlehem Township Police Department.

POSSESSION / CHILD ENDANGERMENT – January 1, 2019 @ 8:27PM

DEFENDANTS:  Nils Hellstrom, Age 28, Berks Court, Quakertown, PA

                           Patricia Humlhanz, Age 33, Heather Lane, Quakertown PA

Quakertown Police effected a traffic stop on a vehicle for failing to stop at a stop sign in the area of Braithwaite Lane and Hickory Drive. The driver was identified as Patricia Humlhanz and the passenger was identified as Nils Hellstrom, in addition to (5) children in the back seat. After further investigation, Humlhanz was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Endangering Welfare of Children. Hellstrom was also arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was transported to Bucks County Prison for Violating Probation.
