Quakertown Police effected a traffic stop on Lopez in the area of East Broad Street and South Hellertown Avenue for erratic driving.  He was subsequently arrested on a warrant out of Lehigh County Probation. Lopez was temporarily housed in the Quakertown Police Department until turned over to Lehigh County Probation Officers.

DEFENDANT:  Matthew Santana, Age 23, South 10^th Street, Quakertown, PA

Quakertown Police effected a traffic stop on Santana in the area of 118 West Mill Street for a broken rear light. After further investigation, Santana was arrested and charged with Possession With Intent To Deliver, Possession of Suspected Marijuana, and Drug Paraphernalia. He was arraigned by Magistrate Gambardella and bail was set at $50,000 unsecured.

Quakertown Police cited Bedford for Public Drunkenness in the area of 349 South 9^th Street.

THEFT / RSP  –  November 14, 2018

DEFENDANT:  Shane Lake, Age 25, Hanover Avenue, Allentown, PA

Quakertown Police filed charges of Theft and Receiving Stolen Property against Lake for stealing merchandise while employed at Pep Boys located at 222 South West End Boulevard. Lake has been referred to the Bucks County Community Accountability Panel Program.

Quakertown Police effected a traffic stop on Torres for speeding in the area of East Broad Street and Chestnut Street. He was subsequently arrested for driving under the influence of a controlled substance.  Suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia were located in vehicle.

Quakertown Police arrested Elker at 1021 Park Avenue on an active bench warrant out of Bucks County for Failure to Appear. She was temporarily housed in the Quakertown Police Department until turned over to the Sheriff’s Department.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – November 9, 2018

DEFENDANT:  Christian Bedford, Age 21, North Main St., Trumbauersville, PA

Quakertown Police filed Criminal Mischief charges against Bedford for defacing public property with graffiti. On 23 October 2018 in the PM, Bedford spray painted the buildings of Neenah Paper, 45 North 4^th Street, and Joann Fabric, 1465 West Broad Street.

Quakertown Police arrested Manzo in the area of 140 East Broad Street on a Probation Detainer out of Lehigh County. On search incident to arrest, suspected Marijuana and drug paraphernalia were located on his person. He was arraigned by Magistrate Armitage and bail was set at $20,000. Manzo was remanded to Lehigh County Prison.

Quakertown Police were dispatched to investigate a suspicious person inside the Rite Aid Pharmacy located at 1465 West Broad Street. On scene, and after further investigation, Schwegel was arrested for unlawfully taking merchandise from Rite Aid. On search incident to arrest, Controlled Substance and Paraphernalia were found on his person.
