SEXUAL ASSAULT   –  January 31, 2017

DEFENDANT:  Philip Wimmer, Age 36, West Broad Street, Quakertown, PA

Quakertown Police arrested Wimmer at Bush House Hotel, 200 West Broad Street, on Statutory Sexual Assault charges stemming from an incident that occurred on or about November 2016 where Wimmer had inappropriate relations with a female juvenile. He was arraigned by Magistrate Schnell and bail was set at $50,000. Wimmer was remanded to Bucks County Prison.


WARRANT  –  January 30, 2017 @ 4:45PM

DEFENDANT:  Justin Laubach, Age 20, South 9th Street, Quakertown, PA

Laubach came to the Quakertown Police Headquarters located at 35 North 3rd Street to turn himself in on (2) active warrants out of Bucks County Sheriff’s Department. He was temporarily held until picked up by the Sheriff’s Department.

 

PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS / WARRANT – January 30, 2017 @ 7:19PM

DEFENDANT:  John Brace, Age 24, Carlton Avenue, Bethlehem, PA

Quakertown Police were dispatched to Arby’s Restaurant, 175 North West End Boulevard, for a well being check.  On scene, and after further investigation, Brace was arrested on two warrants out of Northampton County and cited by Quakertown for Public Drunkenness. He was transported to Bucks County Prison.                                                                                                         



WARRANT / RESISTING ARREST – January 29, 2017 @ 8:13PM

DEFENDANT:  Anthony Schaffer, Age 29, South Main St., Richlandtown, PA

Quakertown Police notified Schaffer of his outstanding warrant out of Bucks County Sheriff’s Department at the 7-11 Store, 523 Richlandtown Pike. Schaffer gave false identification to the police then fled the scene.  Police pursued and arrested Schaffer. He was arraigned by Magistrate Falcone and bail was set at $100,000. Schaffer was remanded to Bucks County Prison.

 

POSSESSION / FALSE I.D. – January 29, 2017 @ 1:14AM

DEFENDANT:  Lawson Young, Age 43, South Main St. Richlandtown, PA 

Quakertown Police were investigating a suspicious vehicle in the area of 56 North Ambler Street when one of the passengers fled from the vehicle on foot through the back yard.  When Young was located, he gave false identification to the police and suspected heroin and paraphernalia were found on his person. Due to probation violation, Young was arraigned by Magistrate Benz and bail was set at $35,000. He was remanded to Bucks County Prison.

 

DISORDERLY CONDUCT – January 28, 2017 @ 7:59PM

DEFENDANT:  Stacey Koffel, Age 24, Barrington Ct., Sellersville, PA

Quakertown Police were advised of a possible domestic in progress outside on the front lawn at 224 South 11th Street. After further investigation, Koffel was located and cited for her participation in the altercation and disturbing the peace.

 

DEFIANT TRESPASS  –  January 27, 2017 @ 4:58PM

DEFENDANT:  Michael McGuigan, Age 33, E. Rockhill Road, Sellersville, PA                                                                                                                              

Quakertown Police cited McGuigan for trespassing at Rite Aid, 345 West Broad Street, after being previously warned he was not allowed on the premises.



DOMESTIC ASSAULT – January 26, 2017 @ 7:23PM

DEFENDANT:  Kenneth Leister, Age 60, South 2nd Street, Quakertown, PA

Quakertown Police were dispatched to 131 South 2nd Street for the report of an assault on a female. On scene, and after further investigation, police arrested Leister and charged him with Assault. He was arraigned by Magistrate Baum and bail was set at $25,000. Leister was remanded to Bucks County Prison.

 

DISORDERLY CONDUCT  –  January 24, 2017

DEFENDANT:  Juvenile                                                                                                                       

Quakertown Police referred a male juvenile to the Youth Aid Panel for his inappropriate behavior displayed at Strayer Middle School located at 1200 Ronald Reagan Drive on 19 January 2017.

 

SMOKING ORDINANCE – January 24, 2017 @ 10:00AM

DEFENDANTS:  Juveniles

Quakertown Police cited three juveniles for smoking on 23 January 2017 in the area of Lehigh Drive and South 8th Street.

 

CRIMINAL TRESPASS – January 24, 2017 @ 3:36PM

DEFENDANT:  Evan Wieand, Age 22, No Fixed Abode

Quakertown Police were dispatched to 471 South 10th Street, Apt. C107, for the report of a known subject, Wieand, that had been found in that vacant apartment and jumped out of a window when confronted by maintenance. An arrest warrant has been issued and Wieand was picked up on 25 January 2017. He was arraigned by Magistrate Baum and bail was set at $10,000. Wieand was remanded to Bucks County Prison.

 

POSSESSION  –  January 24, 2017

DEFENDANT:  Albert Esposito, Age 47,  Juniper Street, Quakertown, PA                                                                                                            

Quakertown Police filed charges of Possession of Suspected Heroin and Drug Paraphernalia against Esposito stemming from an investigation into an incident that occurred at 709 Juniper Street on 18 January 2017. Esposito is currently incarcerated at Bucks County Prison awaiting arraignment on Quakertown charges.

 

SIMPLE ASSAULT / DISORDERLY CONDUCT  – January 23, 2017

DEFENDANTS:  Juveniles

Quakertown Police were dispatched to Memorial Park, 700 West Mill Street, on 19 January for the report of an assault.  On scene, and after further investigation, police filed assault charges against one female juvenile and referred another female juvenile to the Youth Aid Program.

 

WARRANT – January 23, 2017 @ 3:09PM

DEFENDANT:  Shayla Hadley, Age 22, E. Westmoreland St., Phila., PA

Hadley turned herself in at the Quakertown Police Department, 35 North 3rd Street, on an outstanding warrant out of Bucks County Sheriff’s Department. She was turned over to the Sheriff’s Department.

 

WARRANT – January 23, 2017 @ 10:48PM

DEFENDANT:  Bradley Heitz, Age 23, Parkridge Drive, Perkasie, PA

Quakertown Police arrested Heitz at 222 Plymouth Court after having escaped from the Men’s Community Corrections Center, Doylestown, Bucks County, Pa. on January 22, 2017. He was transported back to Bucks County Prison.

 

CRIMINAL TRESPASS/TERRORISTIC THREATS – January 23, 2017 @ 1:15AM

DEFENDANT:  Jason Tulish, Age 36, Plymouth Court, Quakertown, PA

Quakertown Police were advised of a domestic in progress at 204 Plymouth Court. Police were advised that Tulish was trying to force his way into the house.  On scene, and after further investigation, police filed charges against Tulish. He was later located and arrested. Tulish was arraigned by Magistrate Baum and bail was set at $20,000.  He was remanded to Bucks County Prison.

 

DUI / POSSESSION –  January 20, 2017 @ 8:35PM

DEFENDANT:  Sharee Grandy, Age 38, West Seybert St., Phila., PA

Quakertown Police were dispatched to the area of 335 South West End Boulevard for a possible DUI.  On scene, and after further investigation, Grandy was arrested for driving under the influence. Suspected Heroin was found in her possession.

 

WARRANT  –  January 19, 2017 @ 1:23PM

DEFENDANT:  Ryan Wentz, Age 22, Juniper Street, Quakertown, PA

Wentz came to Quakertown Police Headquarters to turn himself in on an outstanding warrant out of Bucks County for a probation violation. He was turned over to the Bucks County Sheriff’s Department.



RETAIL THEFT  –  January 16, 2017 @ 7:54AM

DEFENDANT:  Michael McGuigan, Age 33, No Fixed Abode                     

Quakertown Police were dispatched to Giant Food Store, 1465 West Broad Street, for the report of a retail theft in progress.  On scene, and after further investigation, McGuigan was arrested for unlawfully taking Gillette Razors from the store and trespassing after being warned previously that he was not allowed on the premises. McGuigan was arraigned by Magistrate Daly and bail was set at $2500. He was remanded to Bucks County Prison.

 

TERRORISTIC THREATS – January 16, 2017 @ 7:55PM

DEFENDANT:  Christopher Curry, Age 18, Canary Road, Quakertown, PA

Quakertown Police filed charges of Terroristic Threats, Harassment, and Carrying False ID against Curry stemming from an incident where Curry threatened a female juvenile.



WARRANT  –  January 15, 2017 @ 1:31AM

DEFENDANT:  Albert Esposito, Age 47, Juniper Street, Quakertown, PA                   

Quakertown Police arrested Esposito in the area of Lancaster Court on an active warrant out of Bucks County Sheriff’s Department. He was transported to Bucks County Prison.

 

WARRANT – January 15, 2017 @ 1:50AM

DEFENDANT:  Bradley Heitz, Age 23, Parkridge Drive, Perkasie, PA 

Quakertown Police arrested Heitz in the area of 222 Plymouth Court on an active warrant out of Bucks County for a parole violation. He was transported to Bucks County Prison.

 

THEFT – January 15, 2017 @ 8:15AM

DEFENDANT:  Bridgette Fireman, Age 23, South 3rd Street, Coopersburg, PA

Quakertown Police responded to A-Plus Sonoco gas station at 331 West Broad Street for the report of a theft by an employee still on scene. After further investigation, Fireman was arrested for unlawfully taking cash from the register.

 

POSSESSION – January 15, 2017 @ 9:45PM

DEFENDANT:  Nicole Hickman, Age 31, Swamp Road, Fountainville, PA

Quakertown Police effected a traffic stop on Hickman in the area of West Broad Street @ South 12th Street for revoked registration. She was subsequently arrested for suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia were found in her possession.

 

LIQUOR LAW / UNDERAGE  –  January 12, 2017

DEFENDANT:  Juvenile

Quakertown Police referred a female juvenile to Youth Aid Panel for Possession of Alcohol on school property at Quakertown Freshman Center, 349 South Ninth Street, on 10 January 2017.

 

TRESPASSING – January 12, 2017 @ 9:25AM

DEFENDANT:  Michael McGuigan, Age 33, East Rockhill Road, Sellersville, PA

Quakertown Police cited McGuigan for trespassing at Giant Food Store, 1465 West Broad Street, after being previously warned he was not allowed on the premises.

 

ATTEMPTED THEFT – January 13, 2017

DEFENDANT: Juvenile

Quakertown Police referred a male juvenile to Youth Aid Panel for an attempted theft that occurred at the Main Offices of  Strayer Middle School, 1200 Ronald Reagan Drive, on or about 14 December 2016.

 

POSSESSION; MANUFACTURING -The following individual was arrested as a result of a joint investigation between the Quakertown Borough Police Department and the Pennsylvania State Police Troop M Vice Unit. The investigation was partially funded by the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office.

 

Arrested on 13 January 2017 and charged with Two Counts of Manufacture of Controlled Substance, Drug, Device or Cosmetic, Two Counts of Possession of Marijuana With Intent To Distribute, and Two Counts of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

DEFENDANT - Marc D. Gallo,  Age 46, Easton Road, Kintnersville, PA 18930

Gallo was arraigned by Magistrate Snow and bail was set at $100,000. He was remanded to Bucks County Prison.



POSSESSION  –  January 10, 2017

DEFENDANT:  Juvenile              

Quakertown Police referred a male juvenile to Youth Aid Panel for Possession of Suspected Marijuana on school property at Quakertown High School, 600 Park Avenue.

 

TRESPASSING  –  January 7, 2017 @ 12:33AM

DEFENDANT:  Michael McGuigan, Age 33, West Broad Street, Quakertown, P                       

Quakertown Police cited McGuigan on January 5 and again on January 7 for trespassing at the Bush House Hotel, 200 West Broad Street, after being evicted and warned not to return.

 

POSSESSION  –  January 5, 2017 @ 6:00PM

DEFENDANT:  Brando Alvarenga-Delgado, Age 18, W. Broad St.,Quakertown, PA

                       

Quakertown Police arrested Delgado for Possession of Suspected Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia at 215 West Broad Street.
