DISORDERLY CONDUCT – September 28, 2016

DEFENDANT:  Scott Steinman, Age 49, Norristown Road, Spring House, PA

Quakertown Police cited Steinman for Disorderly Conduct stemming from an incident that occurred on 20 September 2016 at Bush House Hotel, 200 West Broad Street.



RETAIL THEFT – September 27, 2016 @ 2:09PM

DEFENDANT:  Prasannaben Patel, Age 54, Maryview Street, Alexandria, VA

Quakertown Police cited Patel for unlawfully taking $55.54 of groceries from Giant Food Store, 1465 West Broad Street.



RSP / THEFT – September 26, 2016 @ 5:59AM

DEFENDANT:  Joseph Shuron, Age 52, Rutherford Avenue, Trenton, NJ

Quakertown Police arrested Shuron at the Quakertown Plaza Shopping Center in the early hours of Monday morning as he was in the process of selling (600) blue plastic totes that were stolen from area Rite Aid Stores. He was arraigned by Magistrate Roth and bail was set at $25,000. Shuron was remanded to Bucks County Prison.



THEFT / RSP – September 25, 2016

DEFENDANT:  Juvenile

Quakertown Police referred a male juvenile to the Youth Aid Panel Program (YAP) for unlawfully taking a bicycle from a residence on West Broad Street on or about 17 September 2016.



SIMPLE ASSAULT  – September 23, 2016 @ 10:25PM

DEFENDANT: Frank Andrew, Age 46, West Broad Street, Quakertown, PA               

Quakertown Police were dispatched to Bush House Hotel, 200 West Broad Street, for the report of a domestic in progress.  On scene, and after further investigation, Andrew was arrested. He was arraigned by Magistrate Kline and bail was set at $15,000. Andrew was remanded to Bucks County Prison.



PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS – September 23, 2016 @ 8:57PM

DEFENDANT:  George Ellis, Age 21, Highview Lane, Upper Black Eddy, PA

Quakertown Police cited Ellis for being intoxicated at the Quakertown Football game Friday night



CRIMINAL MISCHIEF  – September 21, 2016

Quakertown Police cited two male juveniles for defacing a sign at the rear of the amphitheater located in the park at 4th Street on or about 13 September 2016.

Quakertown Police cited a male juvenile for smoking in the area of Park Avenue and South 7th Street.


UNDERAGE DRINKING  – September 17, 2016 @ 6:08PM

DEFENDANT: Christian Bedford, Age 19, Yankee Road, Quakertown, PA

Quakertown Police cited Bedford for Public Drunkenness at McDonalds, 2 North West End Boulevard.

DEFENDANT:  Curtis Hitchens, Age 51, Settlers Drive, Doylestown, PA

Quakertown Police cited Hitchens for Public Drunkenness at the Quakertown Football Game on Friday night.

 

WARRANT  – September 7, 2016 @ 2:29PM

DEFENDANT: Eric Longacre, Age 25, Tierney Court, Quakertown, PA

Quakertown Police arrested Longacre at 8 Tierney Court on two warrants out of Bucks County Sheriff’s Department for Failure to Appear and Theft.  He was temporarily housed in the Quakertown Police Department until turned over to the Sheriff’s Department.


HARASSMENT / POSSESSION / TRESPASS – September 6, 2016

DEFENDANT:  Christie Adams, Age 34, Noble Street, Souderton, PA

 Quakertown Police cited Adams for harassment stemming from an incident that occurred in a vehicle at the intersection of Route 212 at Mill Street approximately 9:02AM. At approximately 11:13AM, police were dispatched to West Broad Street at the railroad tracks for the report of a white female stumbling all over the sidewalk holding a beer. On scene, and after further investigation, Adams was found to be under the influence and in possession of suspected heroin and paraphernalia. Charges were filed and she was released. At approximately 12:30PM, Adams was hanging in and around the police headquarters refusing to leave. Due to Quakertown Police having arrested her on 8/25/2016 for terroristic threats against the police department and having been warned she is to have no contact, she was again arrested.  Adams was arraigned by Magistrate Roth and bail was set at $10,000. She was remanded to Bucks County Prison.



DEFIANT TRESPASS – September 4, 2016 @ 10:16AM

DEFENDANT:  Kareen Smith, Age 39, No Fixed Abode

Quakertown Police cited Smith for trespassing at St. Lukes Bone and Joint, 1534 Park Avenue, after having been previously warned/cited several times that he is not allowed on these premises due to his causing disturbances.



FLEEING AND ELUDING / RSP – September 4, 2016 @ 10:52PM

DEFENDANT:  Brian Sommers, Age 32, No Fixed Abode

Quakertown Police initiated a traffic stop on Sommers in the area of 341 Edgemont Avenue after running a red light and a confirmed hit on a reported stolen vehicle.  Sommers fled on foot and was apprehended in the area of 560 South Main Street. He was arrested and suspected heroin and cocaine were found on his person in addition to two outstanding warrants against him. Sommers was arraigned by Magistrate Wagner and bail was set at $50,000. He was remanded to Bucks County Prison.


RETAIL THEFT  – September 3, 2016 @ 11:43AM

DEFENDANT: Jarrett Howells, Age 29, No Fixed Abode                              

Quakertown Police arrested Howells for unlawfully taking $424.57 worth of pharmaceuticals and personal hygiene items from Giant Food Store, 1465 West Broad Street. He was arraigned by Magistrate Baum and bail was set at $25,000. Howells was remanded to Bucks County Prison.


DUI / POSSESSION / WARRANT – September 2, 2016 @ 6:21PM

DEFENDANT:  Jeremy Ott, Age 21, Pearl Drive, Doylestown, PA 18901

Quakertown Police effected a traffic stop on Ott in the area of 100 South West End Boulevard for suspended registration. He was subsequently arrested for driving under the influence and possession of drug paraphernalia. Ott was then turned over to Warwick Police Department on an active warrant for burglary.

DEFENDANT: Vincent Moore, Age 25, East Broad Street, Quakertown, PA

Quakertown Police cited Moore for his inappropriate behavior conducted at the A-Plus Gas Station located at 331 West Broad Street.
