SIMPLE ASSAULT   – October 31, 2016

DEFENDANTS: Juveniles

Quakertown Police filed charges against three female students at Quakertown High School, 600 Park Avenue, for their involvement in a physical altercation that took place on Friday, 21 October 2016.

 

POSSESSION  – October 29, 2016 @ 11:15PM

DEFENDANT:  Juvenile 

Quakertown Police were dispatched to the area of 480 South 10th Street for the report of a suspicious vehicle parked on the street.  On scene, and after further investigation, a male juvenile was arrested for smoking suspected marijuana in the vehicle and possession of paraphernalia. 

 

HARASSMENT   – October 28, 2016 @ 2:17PM

DEFENDANT: Donna Bancroft, Age 54, Crocus Court, Quakertown, PA

Quakertown Police cited Bancroft for harassment stemming from a physical altercation that occurred in the parking lot at 240 South West End Boulevard over a vehicle door getting hit by another vehicle. 



PARK HOURS ORDINANCE – October 27, 2016 @ 12:38AM

DEFENDANT:  Joshua Schwarz, Age 19, Tohickon Avenue, Quakertown, PA

Quakertown Police cited Schwarz for being in the park at 221 California Road after it was closed.


OPEN BURNING ORDINANCE   – October 26, 2016 @ 8:56PM

DEFENDANT: David Cannon, Age 30, Franklin Street, Quakertown, PA

Quakertown Police were detailed to investigate for a “large bonfire” somewhere to the rear of 428 East Broad Street. On scene, the fire was located to be on the side of 353 Franklin Street with Cannon on site. Cannon was cited for this Borough Violation after having been warned in the past.



SIMPLE ASSAULT   – October 20, 2016

DEFENDANT: Louis Bednar, Age 25, No Fixed Abode                                  

Louis Bednar arrived at Quakertown Police Headquarters to turn himself in on a warrant issued for his arrest stemming from an incident that occurred on 14 October 2016 where he had assaulted a female at the residence of 411 Erie Avenue. Bednar was arraigned by Magistrate Roth and bail was set at $5,000 unsecured. 


THEFT   – October 11, 2016

DEFENDANT: Stacy Keller, Age 41, School Road, Kintnersville, PA                               

Quakertown Police filed charges of Theft and RSP against Keller stemming from  further investigation into a theft that occurred at A-Plus, 331 West Broad Street, on 18 September 2016, where another patron’s wallet went missing and cash was taken out of it.

WARRANT – October 11, 2016 @ 10:49PM

DEFENDANT:  James Davis, Age 56, Race Street, Perkasie, PA

Quakertown Police effected a traffic stop on Davis in the area of 222 South West End Boulevard for expired registration. He was subsequently arrested on an active warrant out of East Vincent Township Police Department for RSP. He was issued a citation for expired registration then turned over to East Vincent Township Police.

 

DUI – October 11, 2016 @ 11:58PM

DEFENDANT:  Leigh Ferguson, Age 43, Eyre Street, Sellersville, PA

Quakertown Police responded to the area of 240 South West End Boulevard for the report of a male passed out behind the wheel of a Blue Ford Explorer. On scene, and after further investigation, Ferguson was arrested for driving under the influence.

 

TERRORISTIC  THREATS – October 11, 2016

DEFENDANT:  Juvenile

Quakertown Police filed charges against a 12 year old female juvenile for texting “clown threats” to another student at Milford Middle School, 2255 Allentown Road, on Friday, October 7, 2016.



POSSESSION  -  October 9, 2016 @ 10:29PM

DEFENDANT:  Rocky Jimenez, Age 23, Lehigh Avenue, Whitehall, PA

Quakertown Police effected a traffic stop on Jimenez in the area of South West End Boulevard and West Broad Street for a broken right headlight. He was subsequently arrested for possessing a suspected marijuana cigarette.

 

RETAIL THEFT / FALSE ID   – October 7, 2016 @ 8:58PM

DEFENDANTS: Juveniles                           

Quakertown Police arrested two male juveniles for retail theft at the Rite-Aid Store, 345 West Broad Street. One juvenile was referred to the Youth Aid Panel.

The other juvenile gave False ID and information to the police and was subsequently petitioned for Juvenile Court.



DUI / POSSESSION   – October 6, 2016 @ 1:50AM

DEFENDANT: Dylan Rodd, Age 20, Beverly Drive, Kintnersville, PA                             

Quakertown Police effected  a traffic stop on Rodd in the area of South Main Street at South 11th Street for driving without headlights on, running a stop sign, and erratic driving.  He was subsequently arrested for driving under the influence. Suspected meth and marijuana were found in his possession along with drug paraphernalia and brass knuckles.



TERRORISTIC THREATS – October 4, 2016

DEFENDANT:  Juvenile

Quakertown Police arrested a male juvenile stemming from a harassment threats incident that occurred at the Freshman Center, 349 South 9th Street, on Friday 23 September 2016.

 

RETAIL THEFT / RSP   – October 3, 2016

DEFENDANT: Jarrett Howells, Age 29, No Fixed Abod         

Quakertown Police filed charges of Retail Theft and Receiving Stolen Property against Howells stemming from an investigation into a theft that occurred at Giant Food Store, 1465 West Broad Street, on 25 August 2016. Howells is incarcerated at Bucks County Prison awaiting arraignment on Quakertown charges.



WARRANT  – October 1, 2016 @ 9:55AM

DEFENDANT: Sharmaine Scott, Age 38, High Street, Norristown, PA

Quakertown Police effected a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of 570 South West End Boulevard for suspended registration. Scott was a passenger in the vehicle and found to have an active warrant out of the DA’s Office in West Chester, PA for Failure to Appear for Retail Theft. She was temporarily housed in the Quakertown Police Department until turned over to the Constable.
