DEFENDANT: Ernest Walker, Age 23, North 18th Street, Phila., PA

Quakertown Police arrested Walker in the area of 16 South Main Street on a Bench Warrant out of Bucks County Sheriff’s Department for Failure to Appear. He was housed in the Quakertown Police Department until turned over to the Sheriff’s Department and transferred to Bucks County Prison.

DUI / HIT & RUN – May 2, 2016

DEFENDANT:  Brian Massa, Age 46, Almingo Drive, Quakertown, PA  

Quakertown Police filed DUI and Hit & Run Charges against Massa stemming from an incident that occurred on 25 April 2016 at approximately 7PM in the area of 50 North West End Boulevard involving an accident.

HARASSMENT  –  May 2, 2016

DEFENDANT:  Juvenile  

Quakertown Police referred a male juvenile to Youth Aid Panel (YAP) for creating an inappropriate website involving another student without student’s consent.    

THEFT / WARRANT – May 2, 2016 @ 6:20PM

DEFENDANT:  Robert Alvord, Age 29, Juniper Street, Quakertown, PA  

Quakertown Police were dispatched to 120 Juniper Street for the report of a theft of a TV. On scene, and after further investigation, Alvord was arrested and charged with Theft and Receiving Stolen Property. He was also found to have an active warrant out of Philadelphia Probation. He was transported to Bucks County Prison.

WARRANT  –  May 3, 2016 @ 6:30PM

DEFENDANT:  Buffie Bickley, Age 45, No Fixed Abode  

Quakertown Police arrested Bickley in the area of the 100 Block of East Broad Street on an active warrant out of Lehigh County. She was temporarily housed in the Quakertown Police Department until picked up by Lehigh County Sheriff’s Department.

DEFIANT TRESPASS  –  May 4 and  May 5, 2016

DEFENDANT:  Kareen Smith, Age 39, No Fixed Abode  

Quakertown Police cited Smith for trespassing the property at Quakertown National Bank, 240 South West End Boulevard on 4 May 2016 @ 9:30AM.  Quakertown Police again cited Smith for trespassing the property at St. Lukes Bone and Joint, 1534 Park Avenue on 5 May 2016 @ 1:05AM.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT – May 5, 2016

DEFENDANT:  Richard Koff, Age 63, Park Avenue, Quakertown, PA  

Quakertown Police cited Koff for causing a disturbance in the common area at the Grundy House Apartments, 1611 Park Avenue, on or about 29 April 2016.

DEFIANT TRESPASS – May 5, 2016 @ 6:00AM

DEFENDANT:  Susan Swain, Age 44, No Fixed Abode  

Quakertown Police cited Swain for the second time for trespassing the property at Bush House Hotel, 200 West Broad Street.

RETAIL THEFT – May 6, 2016 @ 8:06AM

DEFENDANT:  Susan Swain, Age 44, No Fixed Abode  

Quakertown Police arrested Swain for unlawfully taking cigarettes and then fleeing on foot from the Rite Aid Store, located at 1465 West Broad Street. She was arraigned by Magistrate Roth and bail was set at $5000 unsecured. Swain was subsequently released.    

WARRANT – May 6, 2016 @ 10:00PM

DEFENDANT:  Bradley Heitz, Age 22, Parkridge Drive, Perkasie, PA  

Heitz came to the Quakertown Police Department, 35 North 3rd Street, to turn himself in on an active warrant out of Bucks County Sheriff’s Office for Failure to Appear. He was transported to Bucks County Prison.  

DUI / POSSESSION – May 11, 2016 @ 11:14PM

DEFENDANT:  Michael Foley Jr, Age 23, Castle Drive, Bensalem, PA  

Quakertown Police effected a traffic stop on Foley for expired registration in the area of 751 South West End Boulevard.  He was subsequently arrested for driving under the influence. Suspected marijuana / paraphernalia were also found in his possession.

Quakertown Police cited a male juvenile for Disorderly Conduct  for his involvement of vandalism at the United Friends School, 1018 West Broad Street, on 12 May 2016 approximately 8:09PM.

POSSESSION  – May 13, 2016

DEFENDANTS:  Juvenile  

Quakertown Police referred two male juveniles to the Youth Aid Panel (YAP Program) for possessing suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia at the Freshman Center, 349 South 9th Street, on or about 6 May 2016.

WARRANT – May 15, 2016 @ 2:47AM

DEFENDANT:  James Schairer, Age 50, LKA Maple Avenue, Hatfield, PA  

Quakertown Police arrested Schairer at the Giant Food Store, 1465 West Broad Street, on an active warrant out of Montgomery County for Failure to Pay Child Support. He was transported to Bucks County Prison.

RECKLESS ENDANGERMENT / POSSESSION – May 16, 2016

DEFENDANTS:  Anthony Dorney, Age 31, Union Road, Quakertown, PA; Juveniles  

Quakertown Police responded to the initial report of a hit and run crash in the area of Neidig Elementary School, 201 Penrose Street, on 11 May 2016 at approximately 4:24PM. Information was that an involved vehicle fled the area after a verbal altercation between the driver of the jeep, which fled, and the occupants of the hit vehicle. Upon further investigation, charges of Reckless Endangerment, Simple Assault, and other Related charges have been filed against Dorney, the driver of the aggressive vehicle.  Charges of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia have also been filed against two male juveniles involved in the altercation.

Quakertown Police cited a male juvenile for smoking in the area on the roadway behind Giant Food Store from Mill Street.   

DEFIANT TRESPASS – May 19, 2016 @ 7:20AM 

DEFENDANTS:  Michael Hinkle, Age 18, NFA; Justin Laubach, Age 19, NFA   

Quakertown Police cited Hinkle and Laubach for Defiant Trespass for sleeping in the shed in the Public Works yard at 101 North 3rd Street.   

DUI – May 19, 2016 @ 8:25PM 

DEFENDANT:  Valerie Fee, Age 33, Mimosa Court, Quakertown,PA   

Quakertown Police were dispatched to the area of Hickory Drive and Roan Tree Drive for the report of a blue Chevy SUV that is swerving all over the roadway and blowing stop signs.  Fee was located in the parking lot of Yellow Tail Bar and Grill, 85 Southwest End Boulevard, and after further investigation, was arrested for driving under the influence.

 

SIMPLE ASSAULT  – May 20, 2016 

 

DEFENDANT:  William Coulston, Age 51, North Main Street, Quakertown, PA                          

Quakertown Police filed charges of Simple Assault, Harassment, and Disorderly Conduct against Coulston after further investigation stemming from an incident that occurred at Quakertown Family Restauant, 25 North West End Boulevard, on 8 May 2015.   

 

PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS – May 21, 2016 @ 2:53AM 

DEFENDANT:  Alan Williams, Age 23, Chestnut Street, Quakertown, PA   

Quakertown Police cited Williams for Public Drunkenness at the residence of 7 Chestnut Street.   

PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS/DISORDERLY CONDUCT/WARRANT- May 22, 2016 

DEFENDANT:  Jason Plenderleith, Age 35, New Street, Quakertown, PA   

Quakertown Police were dispatched for the report of a disorderly person at the corner of New Street and South Hellertown Avenue. On scene, and after further investigation, Plenderleith was arrested, cited, then transported to Bucks County Prison for violating probation.   

POSSESSION – May 23, 2016

Quakertown Police referred a male juvenile to the Youth Aid Panel for possessing suspected marijuana at the Strayer Middle School, 1200 Ronald Reagan Drive.

POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA  – May 23, 2016 @ 8:36AM WARRANT 

DEFENDANT:  Katherine Leurck, Age 25, Red Bud Road, Quakertown, PA 18951   Quakertown Police arrested Leurck at St. Luke’s Hospital, 1021 Park Avenue, for possession of drug paraphernalia on the premises. She was also found to be wanted out of Bucks County for forgery and a probation violation. She was released to Bucks County Sheriff’s Department and transported to Bucks County Prison, awaiting arraignment on Quakertown charges.   

DISORDERLY CONDUCT  – May 23, 2016 @ 3:30PM 

DEFENDANT:  Allan Triminio, Age 33, California Road, Quakertown,PA                          

Quakertown Police responded to the report of a vagrant begging for money in front of Yogurt Tree, 1465 West Broad Street. On scene, Triminio was located and cited.   

WARRANT – May 23, 2016 @ 7:39PM 

DEFENDANT:  Charles Manzo, Age 22, North Ambler Street, Quakertown, PA   

Quakertown Police arrested Manzo in the area of 345 West Broad Street on a warrant out of Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department for Failure to Appear For Possession of Marijuana. He was temporarily housed in the Quakertown Police Department until turned over to Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS  – May 24, 2016 

 

DEFENDANTS:  Michael Hinkle, Age 18, No Fixed Abode; Justin Laubach, Age 19, No Fixed Abode 

Quakertown Police arrested Hinkle and Laubach for trespassing the residence at 18 Front Street and sleeping on the 3rd floor on 23 May 2016 without residence’s knowledge or permission. Both defendants were arraigned by Magistrate Baranoski and bail was set at $25,000 each.  Hinkle and Laubach were remanded to Bucks County Prison.

DEFENDANT:  Thomas Recica, Age 48, Libby Court, Telford, PA  

Quakertown Police cited Recica for Disorderly Conduct stemming from an incident that occurred on 22 May 2016 at the Connie Mack field parking lot, 151 South 9th Street.   

DUI – May 26, 2016 

DEFENDANT:  Korena Green, Age 44, North Main Street, Trumbauersville, PA   

Quakertown Police filed DUI and Related charges against Green after further investigation into an accident that occurred on 11 May 2016 at Trumbauersville Road and Route 309.

PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS  – May 26, 2016 @ 12:43PM 

DEFENDANT:  Corrine Barndt, Age 28, Crystal Drive, Quakertown, PA                          

Quakertown Police cited Barndt for Public Drunkenness at the Quakertown Memorial Park, 700 West Mill Street.
