DEFENDANTS: Trevor Unruh, Age 18, Old Bethlehem Road, Quakertown, PA; Shawn Fox, Age 18, Tirjan Avenue, Quakertown, PA

Quakertown Police cited Unruh and Fox for operating their vehicles carelessly in the 5th Street student parking lot at the Quakertown High School.

WARRANT – April 2, 2016 @ 5:15PM

DEFENDANT: Craig Bennett, Age 64, West Broad Street, Quakertown, PA

Quakertown Police arrested Bennett at Bush House Hotel, 200 West Broad Street, on an active bench warrant out of Bucks County. He was temporarily housed in the Quakertown Police Department until turned over to the Bucks County Sheriff’s Office.

UNDERAGE DRINKING / POSSESSION – April 3, 2016

DEFENDANT: JUVENILE

Quakertown Police filed charges against a male juvenile stemming from an incident that occurred on 10 March 2016 in the area of 466 South 9th Street.

HARASSMENT - April 6, 2016

DEFENDANTS: Wesley Krajcsir, Age 33, West Mill Street, Quakertown, PA; Carolyn Krajcsir, Age 52, West Mill Street, Quakertown, PA

Quakertown Police cited both Krajcsirs for their involvement in a physical altercation that occurred on Thursday, 31 March 2016 at 1000 West Mill Street.

THEFT / RSP - April 7, 2016

DEFENDANT: Bryan Hoff, Age 28, South 10th Street, Quakertown, PA

Quakertown Police filed charges of Theft and Receiving Stolen Property against Hoff for unlawfully taking money while employed at Sears Appliances, 240 South West End Boulevard.

WARRANT – April 7, 2016 @ 10:58AM

DEFENDANT: Bradley Lanagan, Age 34. Orlando, Florida

Quakertown Police arrested Lanagan at 120 Juniper Street on warrants out of Bucks County Probation and Montgomery County Probation. He was temporarily housed in the Quakertown Police Department until turned over to the PA State Police.

HARASSMENT   -  April 8, 2016  

DEFENDANT: Juvenile   Quakertown Police referred a male juvenile to the YAP Program (Youth Aid Panel) for his involvement in a physical altercation that occurred on the Upper Bucks Vo-tech bus returning to the Freshman Center, 349 South 9th Street, at approximately 1145 hours on 7 April 2016.  

DRUG POSSESSION / PARAPHERNALIA – April 8, 2016 @ 6:28PM

DEFENDANTS:  Ignacio Rosario, Age 22, Middle Road, Dublin, PA; Shelby Burris, Age 19, South 10th Street, Quakertown, PA; Quinton Pio, Age 22, Aspen Way, Doylestown, PA; Juveniles  

Quakertown Police arrested three adults and two juveniles at Quakertown West Apartments, 461 South 10th Street, for smoking suspected marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  

WARRANT / POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – April 9, 2016 @ 10:10PM

DEFENDANT:  Jonathan King, Age 26, Park Avenue, Quakertown, PA  

Quakertown Police arrested King at 164 Park Avenue on a warrant out of Bucks County for Parole Violation. Drug Paraphernalia was found in his possession. He was turned over to the Sheriff’s Department and transported to Bucks County Prison where he awaits arraignment on Quakertown charges.

RETAIL THEFT   -  April 11, 2016  

DEFENDANTS: Juveniles  

Quakertown Police referred two male juveniles to the YAP Program (Youth Aid Panel) for unlawfully taking merchandise from Rite Aid, 345 West Broad Street, on or about 1 April 2016.

TOBACCO COMPLIANCE   On April 12, 2016 between the hours of 2:00PM and 4:00PM, Tobacco Compliance Checks in coordination with the Council of Southeastern PA were completed at all Borough Stores possessing a tobacco sales license. For the first time, since the program was initiated in 2001, ALL stores in the Borough were in compliance with the law and did not sell tobacco products to the volunteer minor assisting with the program.

Quakertown Police referred two male juveniles to the Youth Aid Panel (YAP) for smoking suspected marijuana on the grounds of Memorial Park, 700 West Mill Street.

DEFFENDANT:  Erin Dunzweiler, Age 26, Berwick Place, Lansdale, PA  

Quakertown Police cited Dunzweiler when found sleeping in a vacant residence at 118 Jefferson Court.  

DOMESTIC ASSAULT – April 18, 2016

DEFENDANT:  Edmund Mann III, Age 20, West Mill Street, Quakertown, PA  

Quakertown Police arrested Mann stemming from an investigation into an incident that occurred on or about 1 April 2016  where Mann assaulted a female at the residence of 1121 West Mill Street.  He was arraigned by Magistrate Baum and bail was set at $200,000.  Mann was remanded to Bucks County Prison.

DUI – April 18, 2016 @ 11:36PM

DEFENDANT:  Timothy Fettes, Age 51, Defazio Park, Rt. 611, Factoryville, PA  

Quakertown Police effected a traffic stop on Fettes for driving erratically and without illuminated headlights in the area of 1465 West Broad Street.  He was subsequently arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.

DUI – April 19, 2016 @ 2:05AM

DEFENDANT:  Ross Carl, Age 25, Main Street, Trumbauersville, PA  

Quakertown Police effected a traffic stop on Carl in the area of Route 309 and Route 663 for turning right on red, which is prohibited as signage indicates. He was subsequently arrested for driving under the influence. Drug paraphernalia was found in his vehicle.

DEFENDANTS:  Juveniles   Quakertown Police filed drug charges against two male juveniles for having drug contraband inside the Freshman Center School, 349  South 9th Street.  

THEFT BY DECEPTION  / ACCESS DEVICE FRAUD – April 20, 2016

DEFENDANT:  Christine Phillips, Age 45, Pine Creek Drive, Quakertown, PA  

Quakertown Police filed charges against Phillips for making unauthorized withdrawals from Quakertown National Bank, 15 North 3rd Street.

DUI – April 22, 2016 @ 6:17PM

DEFENDANT:  Meredith Metzger, Age 54, West Broad Street, Quakertown, PA  

Quakertown Police were dispatched to the area of 1020 West Broad Street for the report of a female striking a parked car with her vehicle.  On scene, and after further investigation, Metzger was arrested for driving under the influence.  

DOMESTIC ASSAULT – April 22, 2016 @ 6:57PM

DEFENDANT:  Vincent Wood, Age 35, East Broad Street, Quakertown, PA  

Quakertown Police were dispatched to 231 East Broad Street for the report of a domestic in progress.  On scene, and after further investigation, Wood was taken into custody. He was transported to Bucks County Prison for violating his probation and awaits arraignment on Quakertown charges.

TRESPASS / HARASSMENT – April 23, 2016 @ 11:46PM

Quakertown Police cited Stasek for Criminal Trespass and Harassment By Physical Contact after police responded  to 327 Juniper Street for the report of a domestic dispute.  

ASSAULT / DISORDERLY CONDUCT – April 24, 2016 @ 4:33AM

DEFENDANT:  Darren Saborsky, Age 35, East Broad Street, Quakertown, PA  

Quakertown Police were dispatched to 628 East Broad Street for the report of a male verses male domestic in progress. On scene, after officers warned Saborsky about his behavior, he was still refusing to calm down and lunged at a Quakertown Police officer.He was then arrested and charged with Simple Assault, Disorderly Conduct, and Harassment.

Quakertown Police cited Cottrell for Public Drunkenness at the Yogurt Tree, 1465 West Broad Street.

Quakertown Police were dispatched to Quakertown West Apartments, 461 South 10th Street, for the report of a fight in progress. On scene, and after further investigation, Matusek was cited.

PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS / WARRANT – April 27, 2016 @ 10:08AM

DEFENDANT:  Robert Alvord, Age 29, Juniper Street, Quakertown, PA  

Quakertown Police were dispatched to South 3rd Street at Juniper Street for the report of a white male subject, in his twenties, wearing a white t-shirt and green pajama pants, holding a black backpack and screaming. On scene, Alvord was arrested for Public Drunkenness and found to be wanted out of Richland Township Police Department for Credit Card Fraud.

RETAIL THEFT / WARRANT – April 28, 2016 @ 9:38PM

DEFENDANT:  Denise Hespell, Age 47, North Ridge Road, Perkasie, PA  

Quakertown Police were dispatched to Giant Food Store, 1465 West Broad Street, for the report of a Retail Theft.  On scene, and after futher investigation, Hespell was arrested for taking merchandise out of the store without paying for it. She was also found to have an active warrant out of Bucks County Sheriff’s Department for failure to appear on a DUI charge.   

DISORDERLY CONDUCT – April 28, 2016 @ 12:15PM

DEFENDANT:  Melissa McParland, Age 30, Hunters Way, Hatboro, PA  

Quakertown Police were dispatched to the rear alley behind 27 South 3rd Street for the report of a lot of yelling and screaming and someone honking a car horn. On scene, and after further investigation, McParland was cited for disorderly conduct.

WEAPON ON SCHOOL PROPERTY  – April 29, 2016

DEFENDANT:  Juvenile  

Quakertown Police filed charges against a male juvenile for carrying an air soft pellet handgun on the school bus transporting from the Freshman Center, 349 South 9th Street,  on about 22 April 2016.

DEFENDANT:  Amit Patel, Age 35, Presidential Drive, Quakertown, PA  

Quakertown Police cited Patel for Public Drunkenness in the area of 401 Fairview Avenue.
