RETAIL THEFT – January 13, 2015

DEFENDANT:  Todd Allan Smith, Age 40, West Maple Street, Allentown, PA  

Quakertown Police filed charges of Retail Theft, Theft by Unlawful Taking, and Receiving Stolen Property against Smith for a Retail Theft that occurred on  December 16, 2014 at Giant Food Store, 1465 West Broad Street. Smith is currently incarcerated in Lehigh County Prison awaiting arraignment on Quakertown charges.

Quakertown Police arrested Pantoja at Quakertown West Apartments, 448 South 9th Street, on a Bench Warrant out of Lehigh County for Failure to Appear. He was housed in the Quakertown Police Department until transferred over to Lehigh County Sheriff’s Department.

DEFENDANT:   Kamryn Drake, Age 18, Forest Drive, Coopersburg, PA                          

Quakertown Police referred Drake to the CAP Program (Bucks County Community Accountability Panel) for her involvement in a physical altercation that occurred at Friendly’s Restaurant, 1465 West Broad Street.

THE FOLLOWING individual was arrested as a result of a joint investigation between the Quakertown Borough Police Department and the Pennsylvania State Police Troop M Vice Unit.  The investigation was partially funded by the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office.   Arrested on 21 January 2015 and charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver Controlled Substance, Criminal Use of a Communication Facility, Endangering Welfare of Children, and related charges:   MICHAEL A. DRABIC, Age 33, Richlandtown Pike, Coopersburg, PA 18036 Drabic was arraigned by Magistrate Douple and bail was set at $150,000. He was transported to Bucks County Prison.

Quakertown Police were dispatched to 112 Roantree Drive for the report of a female screaming for help.  On scene, and after further investigation, Boyer was arrested for assault. He was arraigned by Magistrate Brown and bail was set at $10,000. Boyer was remanded to Bucks County Prison.

Quakertown Police were dispatched to the area of 212 Franklin Street for the report of a female stating that a suspected intoxicated male just attempted to gain access to the rear of her vehicle while she was in it. On scene, officers located a combative Rhyner and took him into custody. He was remanded to Bucks County Prison on a probation violation, awaiting arraignment on Quakertown charges.

She was arraigned by Magistrate Roth and bail was set at $25,000. Hosgood was remanded to Bucks County Prison.

Quakertown Police filed charges against Hotz stemming from an investigation around an incident that occurred in the area of South 6th Street, on or about 23, December 2014 whereas Hotz rammed his pick up truck purposefully into a vehicle in which a person was standing next to.

Quakertown Police arrested Dyson in the area of 238 South West End Boulevard on a warrant out of Quakertown for felony Aggravated Assault charges. He was arraigned by Magistrate Daly and bail was set at $25,000. He was subsequently remanded to Bucks County Prison.

ACCESS DEVICE FRAUD/PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS – February 19, 2015

DEFENDANT:   John Freed, Age 31, No Fixed Abode  

Quakertown Police arrested Freed in the area of 316 West Broad Street for being under the influence and tampering with a fuse box on the second floor of said residence.  He has also been charged with Access Device Fraud, Theft by Deception, and Receiving Stolen Propery. Freed made unauthorized credit card purchases totaling $4011.72 between January 20, 2015 and February 9, 2015 on a credit card that did not belong to him. He was arraigned by Magistrate Roth and bail was set at $25,000. Freed was remanded to Bucks County Prison.  

ARSON AND RELATED OFFENSES – February 19, 2015

DEFENDANT:  William Bodner, Age 58, South 9th Street, Quakertown, PA  

Quakertown Police were dispatched to 471 South 9th Street on February 14, 2015 @ 10:14PM for a fire alarm. After further investigation, Bodner has been cited for initiating the cause of the incident.

POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – February 28, 2015 @11:07AM

DEFENDANT: Kristopher Bleam, Age 29, Hickon Road, Quakertown, PA

Quakertown Police were dispatched to the area of 124 South 10th Street for the report of a possibly intoxicated male subject attempting to get in a car. On scene, Bleam was found passed out partially under the vehicle with drug paraphernalia in his pockets. He was transported to Bucks County Prison on a probation violation and is awaiting arraignment on Quakertown charges.

Quakertown Police arrested Neubert charging her with Felony Aggravated Assault and related charges stemming from an incident that occurred at 423 South Main Street last night. Neubert was arraigned by Magistrate Baum and bail was set at $50,000. She was remanded to Bucks County Prison.

Quakertown Police were dispatched to 132 South 3rd Street for the report of a domestic in progress between two males.  On scene, and after further investigation, Bateman was taken into custody while combating officers.  Charges of Aggravated Assault, Resisting Arrest, Simple Assault, and Disorderly Conduct have been filed.

Quakertown Police were dispatched to the area of 225 West Broad Street for possible DUI which was involved in a hit and run. On scene, and after further investigation, Flynn was arrested for driving under the influence and reckless endangerment for having three juveniles in the vehicle.

THEFT – March 9, 2015

DEFENDANT:  Cindy Dumberth, Age 53, Washington Court, Quakertown, PA  

Quakertown Police filed charges of Felony Theft against Dumberth for unlawfully taking cash valued at $6795.00 from Independence Place Community Association located at 200 Madison Court during the timeframe of August 2014 to February 2015. Dumberth was arraigned by Magistrate Benz and bail was set at $5,000 unsecured. She was subsequently released.

DEFENDANTS:  Mary Lorah, Age 30, No Fixed Abode; Antonio Brown, Age 37, No Fixed Abode  

Quakertown Police took Lorah and Brown into custody in the area of West Mill Street and North Main Street . They have been charged with various robbery and assault charges for allegedly robbing a resident at  Bush House Hotel, 200 West  Broad Street, on March 8, 2015 at approximately 5:12PM. Lorah was arraigned by Magistrate Roth and bail was set at $10,000. She was turned over to the constable to be transported to Bucks County Prison. Brown was arraigned by Magistrate Benz and bail was set at $150,000. He was remanded to Bucks County Prison.

Issac Ansah, Age 28, Quiet Glenn Ct., Springdale, MD   Quakertown Police arrested Amankwah and Ansah at Fitness Factory Outlet, 122 SouthWest End Boulevard, for making fraudulant purchases. Armankwah and Ansah were arraigned by Magistrate Snow and bail was set at $100,000 each. They were remanded to Bucks County Prison.

ATTEMPTED THEFT FROM MV  – March 14, 2015 @ 8:18PM

DEFENDANT:   Daniel Trujillo, Age 41, South 7th Street, Quakertown, PA  

Quakertown Police arrested Trujillo in the area behind 519 Juniper Street for attempting to open two doors on two separate vehicles. He was also charged with Loitering and Prowling. He was transported to Bucks County Prison on a probation violation out of Montgomery County and is awaiting arraignment on Quakertown charges.

DEFENDANT:  Leif Dias, Age 23, West Broad Street, Quakertown, PA   Quakertown Police were dispatched to 1017 West Broad Street for the report of a physical domestic in progress between male and female.  On scene, and after further investigation, Dias was arrested and charged with Simple Assault and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Quakertown Police were dispatched to the Pet Value store, 1465 West Broad Street, for the report of a male who just tried to pass a fake $20.00 bill. Upon further investigation, police picked up Kent after he used the same fake bill at Philly Pretzel Factory, 1465 West Broad Street. He was arraigned by Magistrate Snow and bail was set at $25,000 unsecured.  Kent was subsequently released.

DUI/HIT& RUN  – March 17, 2015 @ 11:48AM

DEFENDANT:   Jose Alexander Garcia, Age 21, W. Broad Street, Quakertown, PA  

Quakertown Police were dispatched to a hit and run traffic accident in the area of West Broad Street and South 14th Street. A gold SUV was involved in the traffic accident and left the scene, east on West Broad Street, driving on three wheels. Within minutes of the call being dispatched, Bucks County Radio advised of a traffic accident on Juniper Street and South 12th Street, which is three blocks from the first accident.  The operator of the gold SUV, Garcia,  fled the scene on foot, but was apprehended a block away. Garcia was subsequently arrested for driving under the influence.  

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT  – March 17, 2015 @ 8:41PM

DEFENDANT:   Tanya Furry, Age 34, Wyandotte Street, Bethlehem, PA  

Quakertown Police were dispatched to Quakertown West Apartments, 461 South 9th Street, for the report of a domestic assault in which the actor struck another person with an 18” metal pipe.  On scene, and after further investigation, Furry was arrested. She was arraigned by Magistrate Snow and bail was set at $100,000 unsecured. Furry was subsequently released.

Quakertown Police arrested Salassa in the area of 41 Pennington Lane on a warrant out of Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department for larceny.  He was housed in the Quakertown Police Department until turned over to Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department.

DEFENDANT:  Joseph Medina, Age 27, East Broad Street, Quakertown, PA  

Quakertown Police were advised of a Domestic Dispute-in-progress at 200 East Broad Street, 2nd Floor, for a female who had been assaulted by her husband. On scene, and after further investigation, Medina was located and arrested. He was arraigned by Magistrate Roth and bail was set at $5,000 unsecured. Medina was subsequently released.

RETAIL THEFT  – March 24, 2015

DEFENDANT:   Gregory Myers, Age 33, Peachtree Drive, Perkasie, PA  

Quakertown Police filed charges of Retail Theft against Myers. Myers was identified on store DVD tape of loading $215.99 worth of Red Bull and bypassing the register with the cart and leaving Giant Food Store, 1465 West Broad Street, on or about 4 December, 2014.

DEFENDANT:   Timothy Schulberger, Age 24, Mountain View Drive, Ottsville, PA  

Quakertown Police arrested Schulberger in the area of 32 Berks Court on several Bench Warrants out of Bucks County Sheriff’s Office.  He was transported and released to Bucks County Sheriff’s Office.

DEFENDANT:   Michael Herder, Age 31, West Broad Street, Quakertown, PA  

Quakertown Police were dispatched to 725 West Broad Street for the report of an assault on a female. After further investigation, Herder was arrested. He was arraigned by Magistrate Armitage and bail was set at $20,000.00.  Herder was remanded to Bucks County Prison.  

FORGERY – March 31, 2015

DEFENDANT:  Woodley Desir, Age 33, No Fixed Abode  

Quakertown Police filed Forgery and Related Charges against Desir for passing fraudulent traveler’s checks at Giant Food Store, 1465 West Broad Street, on or about 2015 January 25. Desir is currently incarcerated at Northampton County Prison awaiting arraignment on Quakertown charges.  

THEFT OF SERVICES – March 31, 2015

DEFENDANT:  William Leonard, Age 62, East Broad Street, Quakertown, PA  

Quakertown Police filed charges against Leonard for allegedly altering/tampering with a Quakertown Borough Utility Meter to avoid paying for electricity the defendant used. Leonard was arrested, arraigned by Magistrate Baum, and bail was set at $1000 unsecured.  He was subsequently released.

CREDIT CARD FRAUD – April 1, 2015

DEFENDANT: Kurt Wampole-Morgan, Age 26, No Fixed Abode

Quakertown Police filed charges against Wampole-Morgan for making unauthorized purchases with someone’s credit card at Wawa, 600 NorthWest End Boulevard, on or about 19 March 2015.

Quakertown Police effected a traffic stop on Kidd in the area of Route 663 and Old Bethlehem Pike for expired registration. After further investigation, the vehicle was impounded. On impound search, drug paraphernalia was found.

DEFENDANT: Michelle Campbell, Age 47, No Fixed Abode

Quakertown Police responded to 22 Harold Street to follow up on a report of individuals sleeping in an abandoned trailer. On scene, Campbell was located inside the residence. Campbell was found to have an active warrant out of Bucks County and was transported to the Bucks County Sheriff’s Department.

Quakertown Police effected a traffic stop on Diaz in the area of South West End Boulevard and Park Avenue for a faulty headlight, speeding, and erratic driving. He was subsequently arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.

Quakertown Police responded to 226 New Street, 1st Floor, for a trespassing complaint. On scene, and after further investigation, Yantin and Schaffer were arrested and charged with Burglary, Criminal Trespass, Loitering, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Yantin was arraigned by Margistrate Baum and bail was set at $20,000. He was remanded to BCP. Schaffer was transported to BCP on a County Warrant and awaiting arraignment on Quakertown charges.

While responding, the suspect reportedly unlawfully removed a bicycle outside of the store and rode away.  Police located suspect and identified as Hall. On search incident to arrest, a Craig speaker, reportedly stolen, and  drug paraphernalia were located. Hall was remanded to Bucks County Prison on a Probation Violation and awaits arraignment on Quakertown charges.

Quakertown Police arrested Trumbauer in the Richlandtown Borough on an arrest warrant out of Upper Perk Police Department in Montgomery County for drug charges. He was housed in the Quakertown Police Department until picked up by Upper Perk Police and transported to Montgomery County Correctional Facility.

Quakertown Police filed charges against Reiss stemming from an incident that occurred on 30 October 2015 where Reiss failed to stop during a traffic stop for suspended registration in the area of North West End Boulevard at West Broad Street.

Quakertown Police arrested McCreary in the area of 44 South 14th Street for driving under the influence of alcohol.

DUI / ACCIDENT – November 11, 2015 @ 5:09PM

DEFENDANT: Richard Yerger Jr., Age 31, Alan Lane, Quakertown, PA  

Quakertown Police were detailed to investigate for a motor vehicle crash on North Main Street near West Mill Street. On scene, the crash was located to have occurred in front of 65 North Main Street and it involved (3) vehicles and (4) total persons. After further investigation, Yerger was arrested for driving under the influence.  

DRUG SALES  –  November 12, 2015

DEFENDANTS:  William Tewksbury, Age 25, No Fixed Abode; Angel Leon, Age 20, Tampa Street, Phila., PA; Jessica Maldonado, Age 29, Tampa Street, Phila., PA; Gerardo Oquendo, Age 25, Tampa Street, Phila., PA  

On 3 September 2015, at approximately 1907 hours, the Quakertown Police Department assisted Pennsylvania State Parole serve an arrest warrant on Tewksbury at the Best Western Hotel, 1446 West Broad Street, in Quakertown. Tewksbury was located inside room 119. Also found in the room was marijuana, heroin, cocaine, drug paraphernalia and a shotgun. It was also determined that Tewksbury had an association with room 221 and Leon, Maldonado and Oquendo. A search warrant was served at room 221 and a large number of bags containing heroin, cocaine, crack cocaine and other substances were confiscated.   Arrest warrants were subsequently obtained for Leon, Maldonado and Oquendo. It was determined that Leon was incarcerated in Lehigh County Prison.   On 11 November 2015, Maldonato and Oquendo were arrested by the Philadelphia Police Narcotics Unit at an Aramingo address in Philadelphia. Various drugs were confiscated from the home which resulted in additional charges filed against Maldonado and Oquendo.  

DOMESTIC ASSAULT – November 12, 2015 @ 12:17AM

DEFENDANT:  Adam Serok, Age 35, Tohickon Avenue, Quakertown, PA  

Quakertown Police responded to 203 Tohickon Avenue for the anonymous report of a domestic in progress. On scene, and after further investigation, police took Serok into custody. He was arraigned by Magistrate Vislosky and bail was set at $200,000. Serok was remanded to Bucks County Prison.

DUI/TERRORISTIC THREATS – November 14, 2015 @ 7:52PM

DEFENDANT:  Melinda Steich, Age 49, Redwood Drive, Quakertown, PA  

Quakertown Police were advised of a possible DUI vehicle in the area of 490 Heller Road, operated by a white female who was swerving all over the roadway and traveling into oncoming lanes of traffic.  Dispatch advised multiple complainants had called about this vehicle. The vehicle had eventually stopped in the middle of the roadway in the area of Route 212 and East Mill Street and appeared to be disabled. On scene, and after further investigation, Steich was arrested for driving under the influence. After taken into custody, Steich threatened officers that she would physically harm them and kicked an officer.

THEFT / RSP   –  November 16, 2015 @ 12:43PM

Quakertown Police arrested Longacre at 8 Tierney Court for pawning items that he unlawfully took from the residence to American Cash Traders, 585 South West End Boulevard.

Quakertown Police arrested Ashlee in the area of Route 313 and Devereux Drive on a warrant out of Montgomery County for Failure to Appear. On incident to arrest, suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia were found on his person. Ashlee was turned over to Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department and transported to Montgomery County Prison awaiting arraignment on Quakertown charges.

Quakertown Police were advised of a traffic accident at 912 Juniper Street for a vehicle that struck parked vehicles and then overturned. On scene, and after further investigation, the driver (Jaynes) was subsequently arrested for driving under the influence.

Quakertown Police were dispatched to the area of 20 North West End Boulevard for the report of a possible DUI. On scene, and after further investigation, Boissonneault was arrested for driving under the influence of controlled substances.

FORGERY / ACCESS DEVICE FRAUD / IDENTITY THEFT  –  December 30, 2015

DEFENDANT:  Adrian Raifi, Age 23, East Broad Street, Quakertown, PA  

Quakertown Police arrested Raifi for unlawfully using someone else’s credit card and a second person’s personal checks between November 2015 and December 2015. Raifi was arraigned by Magistrate Armitage and was released on $15,000 unsecured bail.
