Quakertown Police responded to Wendy’s Restaurant, 10 South West End Boulevard, for the report of a fight in progress. On scene, and after further investigation, officers located Hernandez Escobar and took him into custody. He was arraigned by Magistrate Roth and bail was set at $50,000. He was remanded to Bucks County Prison.

She was located and arrested near Yum Yum Donuts, 1461 W.Broad Street. In lieu of Defrancesco having no one to retrieve her, she was arraigned by Magistrate Kline and bail was set at $600. Defrancesco was remanded to Bucks County Prison.

Quakertown Police responded to Quakertown High School, 600 Park Avenue, for a report of a theft of a wallet.  After further investigation, the juvenile responsible has been identified and disposition is pending.  

THE FOLLOWING individual was arrested as a result of a joint investigation between the Quakertown Borough Police Department and the Pennsylvania State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigations Northeast Strike Force. The investigation was partially funded by the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office.

Arrested on 8 April 2014 and charged with Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Drug Paraphernalia, and Criminal Use of a Communication Facility:   Justin Smith, Age 25, 1660 Upper Ridge Road, Pennsburg, PA 18073

Smith was observed selling suspected heroin in the area of 1465 West Broad Street and taken into custody. Additional suspected heroin was found in his possession along with a large sum of cash.  Smith was placed on State Parole Detainer and transported to Bucks County Prison, awaiting arraignment on Quakertown charges.

Quakertown Police were dispatched to 449 East Broad Street for the report of a subject with the name of Blake that was in the complainant’s house. The complainant was able to shove the subject out the door, but the subject was still trying to get back in.  On scene, and after further investigation, Blake was arrested and charged with burlary, criminal trespass, and related charges. He was arraigned by Magistrate Douple and bail was set at $150,000.  Blake was remanded to Bucks County Prison.

Quakertown Police arrested Armstrong in front of the Eagle Hotel, 201 East Broad Street, on warrants out of both Montgomery County and Bucks County. Armstrong resisted arrest and Quakertown Police filed charges of resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness against him. Armstrong was transported to Bucks County Prison on the warrants and is awaiting arraignment on the Quakertown charges.

Quakertown Police were dispatched to the 200 Block of New Street for the report of a disorderly male that lives at 200 New Street.  Plenderleith was cited for disorderly conduct at that time.  Quakertown Police were called back to the same area a little over an hour later for the report of Plenderleith entering other residences and making threats. He was arrested, arraigned by Magistrate Roth and bail was set at $10,000. Plenderleith was remanded to Bucks County Prison.

O/S, Plenderleith was located and warned of his behavior.  At approximately 8:59PM, Quakertown Police were again dispatched to 200 New Street for the report of the subject breaking glass and other things. Plenderleith was arrested and arraigned by Magistrate Brown. Bail was set at $2500 and Plenderleith was remanded to Bucks County Prison.

On scene, and after further investigation, Ortiz was found to be wanted out of both Bucks and Montgomery Counties for theft. On search incident to arrest, suspected marijuana and merchandise not paid for were found in his possession. He was transported to Bucks County Prison.

Quakertown Police effected a traffic stop on Saylor in the area of Hickory Drive and Route 663 for no working license plate light. Saylor was found to be wanted by Souderton Borough Police Department and had a suspended drivers license and registration.  The vehicle was searched, incident to impound, and drug paraphernalia was found. Saylor was housed in the Quakertown Police Department until turned over to Souderton Police.

Quakertown Police arrested Hicks at 35 North 3rd Street on Forgery, Identity Theft, Access Device Fraud, and related charges for forging checks at QNB, 15 North 3rd Street. He was arraigned by Magistrate Roth and bail was set at $25,000. Hicks was remanded to Bucks County Prison.

DEFENDANT:  Rebecca Carper, Age 42, No Fixed Abode  

Quakertown Police arrested Carper for a Retail Theft that occurred at Rite Aid, 345 West Broad Street, on or about 18 October 2014. Carper gave false identification to the police and was also found to be wanted out of Montgomery County on a Bench Warrant for a Probation Violation. She was transported to Montgomery County Prison and awaits arraignment on Quakertown charges.

Quakertown Police were dispatched to the area of the intersection of 3rd Street and Juniper Street for the report of a vehicle stopped in the middle of the intersection and the female driver was passed out behind the wheel.  On scene, and after further investigation, Brown was arrested for driving under the influence of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia was found in her possession.

Quakertown Police cited Schuler for Public Drunkenness and Criminal Trespass after she unlawfully entered the residence at 924 Juniper Street and was found unconscious in the resident’s bed.

DEFENDANT: Eric Kashkashian, Age 38, South Main Street, Quakertown, PA

Quakertown Police were dispatched to the Red Lion Inn, 4 South Main Street, for the report of a tenant refusing to leave the property after being previously warned. On scene, Kashkashian became combative and resisted arrest. He was subsequently apprehended and taken into custody. He was remanded to Bucks County Prison on a parole detainer, awaiting arraignment on Quakertown’s charges.
