FIREARMS / THEFT – February 26, 2019

DEFENDANT:  Jacob Schwegel, Age 19, No Fixed Abode

Stemming from a Narcotics investigation for 1740 Pine Creek Drive, resulting in a search warrant executed on 27 December 2018, Quakertown Police filed charges of Theft of Firearm and Possession of Firearm Prohibited against Schwegel. He is currently incarcerated at Bucks County Prison awaiting arraignment on Quakertown charges.

Quakertown Police filed charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Conspiracy of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Conspiracy of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia against Snedeker and Mercadante stemming from further investigation into a traffic stop that occurred on 11 February 2019 in the area of RoanTree Drive and Hickory Drive.

ENDANGERING WELFARE OF A CHILD – February 25, 2019

DEFENDANT:  Jeffrey Wagner, Age 38, Juniper Street, Quakertown, PA

Quakertown Police filed charges of Endangering Welfare of Children, Aggravated Assault, and Simple Assault against Wagner stemming from an incident that occurred in the residence of 1008 Juniper Street between 11 February 2019 and 22 February 2019. Wagner was arrested and arraigned by Magistrate Seaman and bail was set at $100,000. He was remanded to Bucks County Prison.

POSSESSION – February 23, 2019 @ 12:21PM

DEFENDANT:  Christian Bedford, Age 21, No Fixed Abode

Quakertown Police were dispatched to the area of West Broad Street and Main Street for the report of a white male stumbling in traffic.  On scene, and after further investigation, Bedford was identified and arrested for Possession of Suspected Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Public Drunkenness, and Disorderly Conduct. He was arraigned by Magistrate Seaman and bail was set at $20,000. Bedford was remanded to Bucks County Prison.

DEFENDANT:  Jonathan Lewis, Age 28, Race Street, Perkasie, PA

Stemming from a Narcotics investigation for 1740 Pine Creek Drive, resulting in a search warrant executed on 12/27/2018, Quakertown Police filed charges of Possession of Firearm Prohibited, Sales to Ineligible Transferee, Criminal Use of a Communication Facility, Possession of Controlled Substance, and Receipt in Commerce of Controlled Substance against Lewis.  He was arrested, arraigned by Magistrate Gambardella and bail was set at $200,000.  He was remanded to Bucks County Prison.

Quakertown Police cited Behling for Public Drunkenness in the area of South 8^th Street and Juniper Street.

POSSESSION – February 16, 2019 @ 10:34PM

DEFENDANT:  Jarod Clarke, Age 18, Allentown Road, Quakertown, PA

Quakertown Police effected a traffic stop on Clarke in the area of 1021 Park Avenue for erratic driving.  He was subsequently arrested for Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  Clarke was referred to the Bucks County Community Accountability Panel Program.

On February 15, 2019 Quakertown Borough Police Department, after a narcotics investigation spanning over the past few months, performed search warrants at 279 and 281 Johnson Lane, with the assistance of Richland Township Police Department. As a result of the search warrants, methamphetamine and THC “shatter” was located along with other items of drug paraphernalia, an illegal weapon and stolen property.

Adam Kobrzynski of 279 Johnson Lane was arrested for Possession with Intent to Deliver and Related charges along with Prohibited Offensive Weapons. Kobrzynski was arraigned and bail was set at $75,000. Bucks County Probation also issued a detainer for Kobrzynski who was remanded to Bucks County Prison.

Luis Carambot-Vazquez of 281 Johnson Lane was arrested for Possession with Intent to Deliver and related charges along with Receiving Stolen Property. Carambot was arraigned and bail was set at $75,000. He was remanded to Bucks County Prison.

DEFENDANT:  Christina Berry, Age 31, East Fairview Avenue, Perkasie, PA

Quakertown Police effected a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of RoanTree Drive and Hickory Drive for obstructed view as rear window was covered with ice and snow. After further investigation, the passenger, Berry, was arrested and charged with Possession of A Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

HARASSMENT – February 11, 2019

Quakertown Police referred a male juvenile to the Youth Aid Panel for harassing another male juvenile on 6 February 2019 at the 6^th Grade Center, 349 South 9^th Street.

Quakertown Police filed charges of Theft and RSP against Sims stemming from an incident that occurred on 4 February 2019 whereas Sims sold a puppy without the consent of the owner.

Quakertown Police effected a traffic stop on Lojewski for driving with high beams on and failing to come to a complete stop in the area of South West End Boulevard and Mill Road. Nazr Creary was the passenger in the vehicle and was charged with Possession of Suspected Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia.

Quakertown Police responded to Giant Food Store, 1465 West Broad Street, for the report of a retail theft that had just occurred. On scene, and after further investigation, Smith was ID’d and arrested. He was arraigned by Magistrate Armitage and remanded to Bucks County Prison.
