Discover the joy of gardening in our Community Garden, located at 670 South Main Street behind Free Fall Action Park. Our goal is to create a safe and engaging environment for gardeners of all ages and skill levels. With 25 rentable 12ft by 6ft raised garden beds, you have the opportunity to learn, produce, and enjoy healthy foods grown by your own hands. The 2024 growing season runs from May 13th to October 25th. Join us for a season of growth and connection!

How to Reserve a Community Garden Plot
- Go to QuakertownRec.com
- Click “Log In” or “New Account”
- If you need to create an account, please select an account type, and enter the account information. Account information will include: member name(s), billing address, contact information, and your municipality. Accounts are approved every business day by Borough staff to confirm residency. Please note your account will not be active until it is approved.
- You are a Borough of Quakertown resident, if you pay your electric utility to the Borough. If you are unsure of your municipality, you can click here to find out by entering your address.
- If you are applying on behalf of an organization, choose “organization for the account type”.
- Once you have logged onto your account, select “Register”, and then click on “Programs”.
- Under “Programs”, click on “Quakertown Borough Community Garden”, and then click “Register”.
- Select the account member who will be registering for the community garden plot.
- Continue to “Checkout” to add the plot to your shopping cart. Once in your shopping cart, you can use the drop-down arrow under “select a placement” to choose the garden plot that you would like. If you do not choose your own garden plot, one will be assigned to you.
- Complete the required information.
- Add in your billing information and finalize your payment, you have now successfully reserved your garden plot!
- Once you have completed and paid for your garden plot, please visit Borough Hall (35 N. Third Street) during business hours (Mon.-Fri. 8:00 am-4:30 pm) to drop off your $25.00 refundable security deposit (cash or check) and pick up your water key.
