Rediscover, Reconnect, Rebuild: Our Park's Comeback Story!
After careful consideration, the Borough administration decided to tear down the current playground for the safety of all park visitors. Safety has always been the Borough’s top priority, and recent inspections revealed that the playground was past its useful lifespan and no longer fit for play. On September 27th, 2023, Quakertown Borough Public Works Department tore down the old playground at Cedar Grove Park to make room for new memories. The Parks and Recreation Department is thrilled to revitalize Cedar Grove Park! The revitalization of Cedar Grove Park will include an all-inclusive playground, a paved walking trail, an updated basketball court, parking, installation of a rain garden, and a pavilion.
The rehabilitation of Cedar Grove Park will cost more than $500,000.00. The Parks and Recreation Department’s funding efforts were kicked off when they received $250,000 in grant funding from the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources. You can be involved in shaping our community’s future by sponsoring or making a donation to Cedar Grove Park! Your support is crucial in creating a safe and vibrant space for everyone. Whether you’re an individual, local business, or organization, your contribution will make a lasting impact! Help be a part of our Park’s Comeback Story!
