The Borough's Annual Easter Egg Hunt is for residents and surrounding municipalities. This event is free to all children of all ages and their families. There will be giveaways for the first 700 kids. 

With the arrival of our featured guest, the Easter Bunny, the egg hunts kick off! Children race to retrieve eggs filled with candy, stickers, toys, coupons, and much more! 

EGG HUNTS 

10:00am-11:00am: Special Needs/Sensory Friendly Hunt sponsored by Calvary Church of Quakertown

10:20am: 1-3 years old (child must be able to walk)

10:30am: 4-6 years old

10:40am: 7-9 years old

10:50am: 10-12 years old

Please plan accordingly, hunts will begin promptly at their start time!

The special needs/sensory friendly egg hunt is meticulously crafted to cater to children of diverse abilities. Featuring eggs placed at different heights and personalized hunts, we ensure that every child can fully participate and enjoy the experience according to their unique needs and abilities. This hunt will take place under the pavilion at the Soccer Fields. 

PARKING:  All participants should expect traffic/parking delays and should plan accordingly.

• The parking lots will open at 9:20am 
• All traffic will be directed to enter the parking lots via 9th Street and Cemetery Road. No vehicles will be permitted entrance through the main Athletic Field entrance on California Road by the Richland PD.

RULES:

• The first 700 children will receive a goody bag generously provided by local businesses – while supplies last

• Parents may NOT gather eggs. Children must gather independently.

• 1-3 years hunt - 1 parent is permitted in the hunt zone

• 4+ years hunts - Parents are not permitted in the hunt zones

• Remind children about manners – no pushing, shoving, or stealing eggs from others.

• Easter Bunny will signal start of each hunt with an air horn.

• Each child should collect no more than 18 eggs.

• Children cannot find their parent(s) after the hunt should come to the Easter Bunny

• When the hunt is over, eggs should be emptied and returned to the bins - do not put trash in the egg bins.

SUPPORT THE PARKS & RECREATION DEPARTMENT: At the event, volunteers will be accepting donations for free events offered throughout the year including Touch a Truck, Movie in the Park, Concerts in the Park, Park-Side Food Festival, Egg Hunt, Pop Up Pool Events, and many more!  

REMINDERS:

• Don't forget to bring your own basket or bag to hold your eggs
• Please enter the Soccer Fields off of 9th Street and Cemetery Road
• Dress accordingly

By use of a Quakertown Borough facility or attending a Borough-sponsored program or event, you grant authorization and consent that you may be photographed, filmed, or otherwise recorded. You grant the right to Quakertown Borough to display the photographs, video, and/or audio taken of you for use in marketing, promotional, or informational materials and communications in any form or medium now existing or developed in the future.

If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform staff and we will make reasonable efforts to honor your request. If you see staff taking pictures, and you do not wish to be photographed, please let us know. If you see a photo of yourself or a family member that causes you concern, please notify us. As a courtesy, we will make every reasonable effort to dispose of the image, and will not use it in future publications. However, we will not be able to retrieve, destroy or discontinue existing printed publications in which the photograph may have been included.
