QuiNBy’s Playground is an all-inclusive and multigenerational playground that allows individuals of all ages and abilities an equal opportunity of play. There are designated play areas for both preschool-age (2-5) and school-age (5-12) children. In the school-aged area, the focal point is the GIANT Castle Structure that comes at a staggering height of 21-29 feet. The tall GIANT tower is jam-packed with physical and cognitive play activities from top to bottom, inside and out. Additionally, the area is equipped with a 155-foot net obstacle course, pendulum swing, multiple carousels, and much more! The pre-school age area features a smaller scale tower that allows children to prepare for the school-aged area. This area also features swings, a seesaw, springers, and more!

 AMENITIES:

  • A flag for each military branch
  • Benches
  • Shelter coverings

The War Memorial, which was constructed in 1967 was built in memory of the Soldiers, Sailors, and Marines from this community who answered the call to service during World War I. Over the years, the condition of the Memorial and surrounding features has declined and are no longer representative of the community’s appreciation for all who served.

The Quakertown Veterans’ Memorial Committee project plans include updating the plaza, installing new flag poles to represent all of the military branches, adding two shelter to cover new park benches, updating the site lighting and landscaping, and restoring the monument.
