Throughout the month of September, the Quakertown Borough Parks and Recreation Department will be participating in their first ever Parks for Pollinators BioBlitz organized by the National Recreation and Park Association with support from The Scotts Miracle-Gro Foundation.
You can participate by exploring nature and pollinators in Quakertown Borough parks. Any observation you make during September 1-30 will count towards the event. No experience necessary! Simply download the iNaturalist app and prepare to photograph pollinators.
Penn State Master Gardeners of Bucks County will help us wrap up our event by inviting community residents to the Borough’s Pollinator Garden located at the Park at 4th to answer any pollinator questions, showcase the pollinator garden, and snap more pictures of pollinators!
