Glow in the Park - RESCHEDULED

Due to inclement weather, the Glow in the Park has been rescheduled for Friday, June 1st.  Check-in will open at 7pm and the run/walk will begin shortly after the sun sets at 8:20pm.

We hope to see you there...walking, running, and partying under the stars with us!

If you are unable to make the new date, please contact Carolyn Redmond at CarolynMRedmond@gmail.com or by phone at 201-914-6246.  We will honor refund requests until 5pm on Wednesday, May 16th.

5k register today buttonGLOW IN THE PARK 5K RUN/WALK

Join us for this fun, family-friendly night race through the Park at 4th!

Day-glow paint will mark this flat, fast 5k course which takes you through lit-up fields and woods and past the brand new Quakertown Amphitheater. There will be tons of photo opportunities along the way (including a selfie station!) to get some great shots of the glow-in-the-dark course.

There is a 5k run and 1.5 mile walk option.

All participants will get a t-shirt and race pack, including glow-in-the-dark items to wear on the run and donations from local businesses.

Come for the run, but stay for the party!

Join us for a music-filled after-party with a beer tent (for 21+) and food trucks. We'll be announcing age group awards as well!

Location: Univest Performance Center (501 W. Mill Street)

Event Start Time: 7:00pm

Race Start Time: 8:00pm

Course: The race will start at the new Quakertown Amphitheater, and continues through the walking paths surrounding the Athletic Fields, and finishes infront of the Amphitheater.

Registration:

 Early Runner Registration: $30 (Individual) until April 30th

Late Runner Registration: $35 (Individual) After May 1st

Walker Registration: $20 (Individual)

After Party Only ( No Running/Walking): $5 (Individual)

Registration Includes: Race Shirt, Bib, Race Pack, Glow, and after party.

 Event Amenities

  • Timing - Provided by Run the Day
  • Race Results - will be posted at Runtheday.com
  • Personalized bib number for all runners
  • Glow, Black Light, LED, Selfie Stations, and entertainment all along the course!

  • Exceptions for race: Please no bicycles, skate boards, roller blades, or dogs along the course.

Volunteer

Our event is staffed by the Borough of Quakertown Employees, and a special group of dedicated volunteers. Some volunteer jobs include: race packet pick up, tshirt handout, Start/Finish Line, Water Stops, Course Marshalls, and Cheer Zones. 

We welcome everyone who wishes to help! individuals interested in volunteering can sign up here
